Gone with the Wind (1939)

George calls Betty "Scarlet O'Hara" (one of the lead characters from Gone with the Wind) while they are in the kitchen talking about George's will and future funeral arrangements.

When Bart begs Mrs. Glick not to apply iodine to his wounded arm, she grabs his arm and the scene shifts to their silhouettes as Bart screams, mirroring a scene in the 1939 film Gone with the Wind.

Abe recalls his youth, working as a shoe shine boy at Springfield Union Station. He meets a young Clark Gable and gives him a copy of his book, 'Gone with the Wind'. Clark Gable tells the young Abe that he's never heard of this story before, and asks him not to tell the story to anyone for 60 years. Clark Gable is famous for his role in the film 'Gone with the Wind'.

A reference is made to the movie Gone with the Wind when Boris brings Melody upstairs to his apartment for something to eat.

Gone with the Wind is referenced numerous times throughout the series due to the fact that Daisy was killed during the filming of the movie.
