Green Card (Movie)
December 28, 1990
The plot involves George Faure, a Frenchman who has been offered a job in the United States, and Brontë Parrish, a horticulturist. They initially form a marriage purely for convenience, because George needs to obtain a green card in order to start his job, while Bronte learns that only married couples are allowed to be tenants in the apartment complex she desires.
George moves in with Bronte, and they begin to act like a married couple in order to fool the interviewers from Immigration who are investigating the legitimacy of their marriage. During the course of their trials, they end up falling in love.
