The Captain is constantly quoting lyrics from various TLC songs, but doesn't know it. Alan however, does pick up on the lyrics quotes. When the Captain tells Alan and Terry not to worry about the paperwork for their big takedown, he tells them that he "Ain't to proud to beg". Alan insists that he is quoting the TLC song 'Ain't 2 Proud 2 Beg'.
