Amazon Commercial for Amazon Kindle

Summer 2010

Plot / Description

This is the third stop-motion commercial created for the Amazon Kindle. This one begins with a mother and daughter sitting on a bench waiting for a school bus. The bus pulls up, the daughter gets on, and the mother starts using her Kindle. She is reading a horror/vampire book because bats fly out of the eBook reader. She then pulls a purple cape over her face and when she lowers it, she is a vampire with her pointed canine teeth. She then flys into the night sky. The sun comes out while she is flying and she turns to a pile of dust/sand. The sand then spreads out becoming a desert scene. Some of the sand forms the woman back into an Egyptian (the popular "walk like an Egyptian" pose), and she is standing in front of a pyramid. Soon after, she flips upside down and dives into the sand which turns into water and she is suddenly dressed in scuba gear. She swims along and kisses a yellow, black, and white fish while bubbles form heart. The Amazon Kindle is shown again in this underwater world with red, purple, green, and blue fish swimming around.

Voiceover

You're the twinkle in my eye
Show me what's beneath the sky
Cross/Across the landscape far and wide
Time stops when you're by my side.

Do, do you?
Couldn't love you more than I do.
Do do, you know?
Couldn't love you more so come on let's go.
