Virgin Mobile Commercial

Summer/Fall 2010

Plot / Description

The commercial begins with a woman in labor / having a baby. She is texting and browsing Flickr on her phone. It then shows two girls jumping on a bed and screaming while holding their phones and taking pictures. A man is then show with duct tape over his mouth. He is texting/typing so fast that his fingers are a blur. We then see some sort of priest or church official dressed in black flipping through a giant Bible (or other book). When the congregation kneels over to pray, they all pull out their phones to get online. Two boys with only towels wrapped around their waists are then shown yelling and then hugging after looking at email on their phones. A tattoo artist working on the back of a woman is seen working on his phone at the same time he is drawing. When we see the woman's back it is just a messy squiggle. When he notices, he says, "Oh, sh..." (the actual word is cut out). The girls are shown jumping on the bed again at the end, and they jump/fall down on it.
