Adidas Commercial for Adidas Adizero

Spring/Summer 2011

Plot / Description

This commercial features NBA rookie of the year, Derrick Rose, of the Chigaco Bulls. Throughout the commercial we see him on the basketball court, or wearing a hoodie with red lights behind him. He is advertising for the new Adidas Adizero shoe. The number of "9.8" is repeated numerous time through out the commercial, and it represents the weight in oz. of the new shoe - the lightest ever.

The shoe itself is black with a red strip for the sole on the bottom. We see various parts of the city of Chicago including the El, local barber shop, and district parks.

Voiceover

Remember this number 9.8. That's not the time on the shot clock, or the seconds left in the game. It's not the number of times I will light you up. Nah, 9.8 isn't any of those - it's ounces, and that makes this the lightest ever.
