Plot / Description

In this back-to-school commercial for Target, a gym teacher slides down a rope and tells parents that he's going to teach the kids how to climb rope in gym classes this year. Back in the locker room, the gym teacher/coach pulls out a list from his pocket and reads to parents what the kids will need for school this year.

Voiceover

Hello parents. It's gonna be a big school year. Your kid's gonna climb rope. They're gonna have a year long tug of war with the ceiling. And by the time they get out of 8th grade, they're gonna do it with sweat on their brow and achievement in their hearts. So, this is what they're gonna need. Running shoes, T-shirts, Tube Socks, Fruit Cups, Cheese Sticks, Energy Bars, Rope Climbing Gloves, Rope Burn Ointment, and a Jump Drive. Not sure what that is, but they're gonna be jumpin'. 
 
School takes a lot. Target has it all.
