JC Penney Commercial

Summer/Fall 2010

Plot / Description

This JC Penney commercial for back-to-school features high school kids taking over picture day. Instead of having their yearbook photos taken in the designated room, the kids set up their own photo shoot in a different room, showing off their back-to-school fashions.

Voiceover

(bell rings) Spaghetti and meatballs. And remember, the hallways are for walking not talking. And bring your smiles to room 17A. Yearbook photos will be taken by Mr. Dietrich.

(Lyrics) Who could it be, don't look at me so obviously it makes me sweat. Straight to my head I'm turning reddish, someone said, so I'm upset. Come step outside to shoot me high oh, before I forget. 1,2,3 turnaround. Don't you watch me now. Do it now, don't make me count to 4. 1,2,3 turnaround. Watch yourself, why don't you turnaround. Can't you see I don't need you around. Do it now, walk right through that door.

New look, new year. Who knew? JC Penney.
