Plot / Description
This commercial shows a variety of Beatles albums, but instead of having flat, 2D cover art, the commercial zooms in and out of the covers like they are real 3D worlds.
It begins with the famous "Please Please Me" album cover with The Beatles looking down from a balcony. The camera moves up toward the singers and enters the landing above them. It gets dark and turns into the "With The Beatles" cover with the Fab Four's heads flying past. Next we see "A Hard Day's Night" with each row of faces flying past like an old film strip. Continuing the chronological order of album releases, we next see the photo from the cover of "Beatles for Sale" and then the Help cover with the semaphore flag pose. Help morphs into "Rubber Soul" and then quickly into the drawn "Revolver" cover. On top of the inked Revolver cover starts falling all the dozens of historical figures and characters from the infamous "Sgt. Pepper's Lonely Hearts Club Band" cover. The "Magical Mystery Tour" then flips in followed by "The Beatles" (The "White Album"). The commercial turns animated again as the trippy "Yellow Submarine" cover is featured. The submarine flies by the "Let It Be" cover blowing away the singers' pictures revealing the "Abbey Road" album.
