Plot / Description
This commercial for the new NBC drama "Chicago Fire" shows a bunch of burly men working out, lifting weights, powerlifting, etc., making you first think this is another Olympics commercial. It tells us, however, that "Some heroes never go to the Olympics". We then see these men are firefighters, and simply work out because they need to be in shape to do their job to fight fires and save lives every day.Voiceover
(Lyrics)
I'm waking up to ash and dust
I wipe my brow and I sweat my rust
I'm breathing in the chemicals
I'm breaking in, shaping up, then checking out on the prison bus
This is it, the apocalypse
Whoa
I'm waking up, I feel it in my bones
Enough to make my systems grow
Welcome to the new age, to the new ageWritten Text
