Stan is determined to make Steve act like an adult by getting rid of the childish games and events at his fourteenth birthday party. After Francine undermines him by renting a moonbounce for the party Stan realizes that he never had a childhood himself because his father left him when he was four, thus he had to assume all the man-of-the-house responsibilities. Stan accompanies Steve and his friends in an effort to get in touch with his inner child. However, they were caught by the police after vandalizing Snob's house. Though the boys received community service, Stan was given a two month stint in jail. However, the other inmates show him that jail at a minimum security prison is like summer camp. However, Steve becomes the man of the house and slowly turns into an old man while overseeing the bills.
