Quagmire pays Freddy from A Nightmare on Elm Street to tell Peter a joke in his dreams.

In trying to track the origin of a joke, one of the people they tracked it through was Bender from Futurama.

This was another crossover episode. Peter, Louis, Quagmire, Joe, and Bonny travel to Stoolbend, VA in search of the origin of a dirty joke.

After the lead singer stops them from playing one of his song because he doesn't want his ex-wife to get the royalties, they play an Asia song instead.

This song is played at an REO Speedwagon concert, and is supposedly about the band's search for the origin of the same joke the guys are after ("heard it from a friend who, heard it from a friend who..."). As they start to play more of the song, the lead singer tells them to stop because his wife gets all the royalties in the divorce.
