Sterling, Cooper, Draper and Pryce find out the company is being sold again, eventually putting aside their problems to found a new agency, with all of them equal partners. Don and Sterling recruit Joan, Peggy, Harry and Pete. Betty and Don begin to formalize a divorce, which begins contentiously, with Don preparing for a major fight. Henry Francis helps Betty prepare for the divorce. After establishing a new advertising agency, Sterling Cooper Draper Pryce, Don informs Betty he wants to avoid animosity. Don moves into an apartment, Betty flies to Reno to prepare for the divorce, and Carla takes care of the kids. The episode takes place from December 12 until December 16, 1963.
