It's Christmas time in Bluebell and Zoe encourages Rose to enter the annual Miss Cinnamon Cider Beauty Pageant competing against Lemon's younger sister, Magnolia Breeland, resuming the bitter rivalry between Zoe and Lemon. Meanwhile, George and Wade get arrested for illegally chopping down a tree to be the Christmas tree for Bluebell's town square. Also, Lemon looks back on her relationship with her mother (Meredith Monroe), who walked out on her family, which led to the start of Lemon's past relationship with Lavon.
