We learn that at some point Jim tricked Dwight into going to Los Angeles for a walk on part for NCIS.

The Immigration investigator catches House and his Green Card Bride in their lie, but shows them both mercy. However, he tells them both that for the next six months, they will be subjected to unannounced visits at any time of the day or night, and the investigator expects to find them both at home, sitting on the couch, watching NCIS eating ice cream with the same spoon.

Although the name of the show isn't mentioned, Frankie mentions that the character of the show she and Mike are watching, is married to "Mindy" from Mork & Mindy. Mark Harmon stars in the show NCIS, and is married to Pam Dawber, the woman who played the role of "Mindy".

Peter and Tom Tucker are eating dinner at a fancy Hollywood restaurant where they meet a casting director for the show NCIS, who gives Tom an audition to appear on the show.
