Battlestar Galactica (1978 - 1979)

Steve is in the teacher's lounge and changes the TV channel from what the other teachers were watching, telling them he wants to watch the 'Galatica' marathon on channel 4.

After Cassie and Jordan reveal that they both lied to each other, Cassie says "We're perfect for each other. We're both Battlestar fans, and we're both liars.".

The title of this episode is a parody of the title of the television series, 'Battlestar Galactica'.

After "stealing" Richard Lewis's excuse to leave the therapist, Larry tries to tell Richard to say he has converted to a Scientologist. Larry then asks about "Battlestar Galactica" (when he actually means Battlefield Earth) in front of the therapist. It should be noted that he would have been referring to the 1978 TV show as the newer series had not come out yet.

As he dies, The Collector poses as Lorne Greene's character Commander Adama in the science fiction series Battlestar Galactica.
