Family Guy (1999)

Some of the prizes at the fair are stuffed dolls that look like a few characters from the show 'Family Guy' (Stewie and Brian).

This episode of The Cleveland Show is a crossover with Family Guy where Peter, Quagmire, and Joe come down for Cleveland's Beer Walk.

This is a big crossover episode with the Family Guy which begins with us learning that Peter left Meg in Stoolbend after the "beer walk". We then learn that Peter never considered Cleveland a friend.

During the intro to this episode, the voice over talks about history firsts in television, saying "January 31 1999 Knock knock, who’s there? It’s history again, as Family Guy premieres." A photo of Stewie's head fills the screen as Stewie is heard saying "Ay, Carumba!". Also, after returning from the first commercial break, the camera shows the audience for the live show, and in the front row are Lois and Peter Griffin.

When Cleveland fires the shotgun into the ceiling, Chris Griffin falls through and lands in the room. He says hello, but Cleveland tells him to go home.

Billy Walsh tells Drama that he's obsessed with animation, and asks if Drama has ever seen 'Family Guy', saying that he loves the dog, Brian.

In this episode, there are muliple reference to 'Family Guy'. The first reference is when Cleveland and his family are watching the news that hurricane Flozell is headed their way, scheduled to hit Quahog in 30 minutes and American Dad-land in an hour. Another reference to 'Family Guy' is when the family is trying to pass the time, playing with puppets shaped like Stewie and Brian Griffin.

Stan lists his top ten favorite dogs. His number 1, all-time favorite is 'Brian Griffin' from the tv series 'Family Guy'.

Francine takes a pregnancy test online, telling Stan that her doctor, is legit. At the end of the episode, it turns out that Quagmire, from the series 'Family Guy' is the online doctor, using his perverted ways to scam women in to sending him pictures of their various body parts.

Roger and Steve are shown watching a Family Guy DVD while riding on a bus. The DVD shows Brian and Stewie getting off a plane.

This episode of The Cleveland Show shows what it would have been like if Quagmire had gotten his own spin-off. The Cleveland Show theme song is sung by Quagmire with most of the words changed to 'giggedy'.

During the German-themed part of the episode, Cleveland says that when he was on Family Guy, the writers made him a deli shop owner because they are all Jewish.
