At the Oceanside Retirement community, each chair in the theater is equipped with a pause button, allowing the audience to stop any movie when they have a question. A Scooby-Doo reference is made when someone says, "Old man Withers owns the amusement park. Let's see who's really under there!" as the face of Old Man Withers is ripped off, revealing his skeleton, proving that he was not in fact wearing a mask (as is what generally took place at the end of the Scooby-Doo episodes.).
