Who's the Boss? (1984 - 1992)

Max and Dave learn that they don't work well together. Max says to Dave "I'll tell you who else didn't just get to go in there and be the boss. Tony Danza." also saying that his (Danza) talk show, 'The Tony Danza Show', was set up to fail.

Marshall tells Ted to ask himself Who's the Boss?, a reference to the 80s TV show. Barney is the only one who answers Mona.

Abed takes an elective course about the television series 'Who's the Boss?', titled "Who Indeed: A Critical Analysis of Who's the Boss?"
