Next they cross through the Rocky Mountains, and continue on through a town in Texas. The continue through New Orleans, and then make their way up to New York City. For each place they drive, they play a song that represents the city or state they are in. Unfortunately, the couple's taste in music doesn't match up... "Blanket" The commercial begins with a quick shot of a ladybug crawling on an orange piece of fabric and then it flies away. There is then a shot of the Hollywood sign covered in orange fabric. As the shot pulls back, we see that much of the surrounding area including hills, roads, and buildings are also blanketed in orange. We then see people inside and office/conference room, and the orange cloth is unrolled over the windows. A shot of the city shows that all the buildings are being covered. It then shows workers covering the Gateway Arch in St. Louis in orange, and then the same thing with the Hoover Damn, the road into Las Vegas, the city and casinos of Vegas, and later a groups of people pulling the fabic over the beach. The commercial begins with a house that has palm trees in ascending heights behind the house - to look like the signal bars on a cell phone. A little girl in a pink shirt comes out of the house carrying a briefcase, bringing it to her father who is getting ready to leave on a business trip. A yellow cab is driving across a bridge, heading in to New York City. The man, sitting in the backseat of the taxi, opens his briefcase to find a small stuffed animal - a brown and white monkey - hidden inside. The man has traveled to London, and he holds up the stuffed monkey to take a picture of it in front of Big Ben. The mother, back at home, is loading groceries in the car when she shows her daughter the picture of the monkey sent by the dad. The dad takes a picture of the monkey again, this time sitting on the edge of a table in a conference room. The mom and daughter look at this picture while at a playground - the swings in the background again in the shape of the signal bars on a cell phone. The mom and daughter, back at home, look at the newest picture sent of the monkey. This picture is of the monkey, resting on top of the dad's briefcase in front of the house, letting them know that dad is finally home from his trip. The commercial begins with a bunch of people waiting at what appears to be a subway station. As the train pulls into the station, we can see that instead of a subway train, it is a rollercoaster. We then see a view of the city street, but instead of normal cars and taxis, all the vehicles are bumber cars. In an office building, we see someone roller skating instead of walking down the hall past cubicles. As the woman skates by, tons of bubbles are being blown from one of the cubicles. The elevators in the building have over-the-shoulder safety bars, and drop suddenly like amusement park rides. The lobby has a teacup ride. At the airport, the airplanes look like old Fischer Price toys. The whole time all the people featured in the ad are holding/using the new Blackberry Torch. "Opulence, I Has It" This ad shows an extremely rich Russian man whose house is full of gold and beautiful women. He eats gold grapes and chooses a golden bust that artists have made for him. His TV remote control is stored on a pile of gold bricks, and he even has a tiny pet giraffe that he kisses. Opulence, I has it. I like the best. This one. But I also like savings the money. This commercial begins with a man trying to watch cable, but the video on the TV is frozen and choppy. We see him at his job talking to a client, but he is irritable and not paying attention. We learn that he is a defense attorney, and he ends up losing a case for the client (i.e., the defendant). The man ends up going to jail even though he is innocent. The entire time he is in prison, the tattooed man works out, and does sit-ups while looking at a picture of his lawyer. When he gets out, the first thing he does is bomb the lawyer's house.
