In the episode, a lonely Michael strikes up a pleasant conversation with a woman while giving blood, but passes out before he can learn her name. He holds a Valentine's Day singles party at the Dunder Mifflin office with the hopes of meeting her. Meanwhile, Jim and Pam go on an awkward double date with Phyllis and Bob Vance.

Roger acts as the family therapist as his alter-ego "Dr. Penguin" until he is sent out to fight the war in Iraq. Klaus decides to take Roger's role while he's away, but not without major ruckus being caused.

GA music producer selects Bart, Nelson, Milhouse and Ralph to be members of the next hit boy band, who record subliminal songs about joining the Navy.

It is discovered that Loretta takes Cleveland's house in the divorce, while Cleveland get's his overweight son, Cleveland Jr. After Peter blows up the house, Cleveland decides to pursue his dream of being a Minor League baseball scout in California. As he is driving away, Stewie exclaims, "What the hell! He's getting his own show?" On the way to California, they decide to stop in Cleveland's hometown of Stoolbend, Virginia. While visiting his old school he runs into his high school sweetheart, Donna Tubbs. They are invited to stay with Donna where they meet her children Rallo (a 5-year old ladies man), and Roberta (a troubled high school student), and her neighbors Lester (a sterotypical redneck), Holt (a short yuppie who still lives with his mother), Tim (a talking bear), and Federline Jones (Roberta's boyfriend). After helping Donna's children solve some of their problems, Donna tells Cleveland she and her children need a man in their lives. Unfortunately she was talking about getting back together with her ex, Robert. Upset, Cleveland leaves early to continue the trip to California, but C Jr. persuades his father to turn around a pursue his love. He confesses his love to Donna and they get married.

This commercial shows a variety of Beatles albums, but instead of having flat, 2D cover art, the commercial zooms in and out of the covers like they are real 3D worlds. It begins with the famous "Please Please Me" album cover with The Beatles looking down from a balcony. The camera moves up toward the singers and enters the landing above them. It gets dark and turns into the "With The Beatles" cover with the Fab Four's heads flying past. Next we see "A Hard Day's Night" with each row of faces flying past like an old film strip. Continuing the chronological order of album releases, we next see the photo from the cover of "Beatles for Sale" and then the Help cover with the semaphore flag pose. Help morphs into "Rubber Soul" and then quickly into the drawn "Revolver" cover. On top of the inked Revolver cover starts falling all the dozens of historical figures and characters from the infamous "Sgt. Pepper's Lonely Hearts Club Band" cover. The "Magical Mystery Tour" then flips in followed by "The Beatles" (The "White Album"). The commercial turns animated again as the trippy "Yellow Submarine" cover is featured. The submarine flies by the "Let It Be" cover blowing away the singers' pictures revealing the "Abbey Road" album.
