Cujo

Lord of the Flies is an allegorical novel by Nobel Prize-winning author William Golding. It discusses how culture created by man fails, using as an example a group of British schoolboys stuck on a deserted island who try to govern themselves, but with disastrous results.

It is about Johnny Smith, who is injured in an accident and enters a coma for nearly five years. When he emerges, he can see horrifying secrets, but he cannot identify all the details of his "dead zone", an area of his brain that suffered permanent damage as the result of his accident.

Donna Trenton is a frustrated suburban housewife whose life is in turmoil after her husband learns about her having an affair. Brett Camber is a young boy whose only companion is a Saint-Bernard named "Cujo", who in turn is bitten by a bat with rabies and becomes violent. Donna and her young son Tad drive into the countryside and to the home where Cujo and his owners live, unaware that Cujo is now a cold-blooded killer.
