The 1933 film version of Alice's Adventures in Wonderland was an all-star Paramount Pictures classic. It is mostly live-action, except for The Walrus and The Carpenter, which was animated by Max Fleischer's studio.

Alice in Wonderland is a 1985 film adaptation of Lewis Carroll's books Alice's Adventures in Wonderland and Through the Looking-Glass. It was a two-part special made for television that was first telecast December 9, 1985, (part one) and December 10, 1985 (part two), at 8:00pm EST on CBS. The movie was released on DVD on August 1, 2006.

Alice in Wonderland is a 2010 fantasy film directed by Tim Burton and based on the Lewis Carroll novels Alice's Adventures in Wonderland and Through the Looking-Glass. The film will utilize a technique combining live action, motion capture technology and stop motion.

Betty in Blunderland is a 1934 Fleischer Studios animated short film starring Betty Boop. It is based on Alice's Adventures in Wonderland and Through the Looking-Glass by Lewis Carroll. Betty falls asleep doing a jigsaw puzzle of Alice and the white rabbit. She "awakes" just in time to follow the rabbit through the looking glass and disguises as Alice into a modern wonderland. Betty meets most of the traditional inhabitants of Wonderland and sings "How Do You Do" (to the tune of "Everyone Says I Love You") to them. When the Jabberwock steals Betty away, everyone comes to her rescue. Betty wakes up back in her living room, just in time to prevent the white rabbit from again escaping from her puzzle.

The Animatrix is a series of short animated films based on The Matrix trilogy.

Through the Looking-Glass, and What Alice Found There is a work of children's literature by Lewis Carroll, generally categorized as literary nonsense. It is the sequel to Alice's Adventures in Wonderland. Although it makes no reference to the events in the earlier book, the themes and settings of Through the Looking-Glass make it a kind of mirror image of Wonderland: the first book begins outdoors, in the warm month of May, on Alice's birthday (May 4), uses frequent changes in size as a plot device, and draws on the imagery of playing cards; the second opens indoors on a snowy, wintry night exactly six months later, on November 4, uses frequent changes in time and spatial directions as a plot device, and draws on the imagery of chess. In it, there are many mirror themes, including opposites, time running backwards, and so on. Alice ponders what the world is like on the other side of a mirror (the reflected scene displayed on its surface), and to her surprise, is able to pass through to experience the alternate world. There, she discovers a book with looking-glass poetry, "Jabberwocky", which she can read only by holding it up to a mirror. Upon leaving the house, she enters a garden, where the flowers speak to her and mistake her for a flower. There, Alice also meets the Red Queen, who offers a throne to Alice if she moves to the eighth rank in a chess match. Alice is placed as the White Queen's pawn, and begins the game by taking a train to the fourth rank, acting on the rule that pawns in chess can move two spaces on the first move.

Set in the near future, the plot revolves around the contestants of a horrific walking contest, held annually by a somewhat despotic and totalitarian version of the United States of America. Note: This book was originally published under Stephen King's alter ego, "Richard Bachman".

The COs, who are preparing to attack once they are brought food, abort the mission on Caputo's command. Meth heads Angie and Leanne try to pants Gloria, and the gun falls to the crowd, which they recover. High, they decide they want the COs to perform a talent show for their enjoyment. The "talents" include singing from CO Dixon, a Mormon-themed magic show from CO Blake, an Italian monologue from Josh (that nobody can understand) and a strip show from CO Stratman. Leanne declares Josh the winner merely because he is the hottest. Suzanne, who believes Poussey's spirit is still there, sets up a shrine on the spot of her death and organizes a seance. Blanca and Red, high on amphetamines Blanca claimed were vitamins, raid the administrative files looking for dirt on the COs. They discover that Piscatella was transferred to Litchfield from a male prison after the death of an inmate, who was discovered in the shower with burns on 80 percent of his body. Judy King is tied to a board, crucifixion-style, by the white supremacists, who think she has a stash of food. She lies to them and says she is expecting a drop of supplies on the roof from a helicopter. They go up to the roof and realizing she lied, they try to throw her off, and she faints. A helicopter arrives but it is a news helicopter carrying cameramen, who take photos and video of Judy tied up and unconscious. Flashback: Alison persuades her husband to accept a polygamous lifestyle because she feels overwhelmed by the time constraints of the housework and raising their daughter, Farah. Another woman, Sahar, moves in, but Alison gets jealous. (The reason why she is in prison is not revealed.)

Sawyer, Miles and Claire make their way back to the beach camp from the Barracks, but Claire disappears in the night with her deceased father. Meanwhile, Jack falls ill with appendicitis and the survivors work together to save him. In flashforwards, Jack's life begins to fall apart as he starts taking pills and his relationship with Kate becomes strained.

The creative team works through the weekend on the Chevy campaign, after Chevy rejects the seventh proposal in six weeks. Ted and the CGC creatives attend Frank Gleason's funeral. Jim Cutler hires a physician to inject the creative staff with a stimulant meant to give them inspiration and enhanced energy for 24 hours. Don and Megan leave Don's children alone in the apartment, with Sally as babysitter. Sally interrupts a disheveled, African American burglar, who pretends to be their "Grandma Ida". Don recalls the time he had a chest cold and was molested by a prostitute named Aimee Swenson, who took care of him when he was sick and then stole his virginity. Don spends his time looking for an old advertisement whose images and message were inspired by Ms. Swenson and Abigail Whitman, and honing a pitch to renew his affair with Sylvia Rosen, instead of working on the Chevy proposal. He and the others who took the injection are manic but unproductive. Gleason's daughter Wendy and Stan Rizzo (whose cousin was killed three months earlier in Vietnam) seek solace for their losses by having sex; Cutler beckons Peggy to join him spying on the couple. Don finds his wife and children, the police, and Henry and Betty Francis waiting for him at home, and then collapses. The next morning, he has made some resolutions.

"Treehouse of Horror XXIV" kicks off with "Oh, the Places You'll D'oh," a Dr. Seuss parody in which Homer cuts a path of destruction as "The Fat in the Hat." Next, a decapitated Bart is forced to live on Lisa's body in "Dead and Shoulders." Finally, in "Freaks No Geeks," Marge and Homer are circus performers in love -- and Moe is the sideshow freak who wants Marge.

Boone steals the decreasing water supply in a misguided attempt to help everyone, but the survivors turn on him. A sleep-deprived Jack chases after what appears to be his deceased father in the forests and eventually discovers caves with fresh water. Jack comes to terms with his role as leader. In flashbacks, Jack goes to Australia to retrieve his deceased father.

Love is in the air as the inmates prepare for a Valentine's Day party; Red makes an intriguing new discovery. Larry asks Piper to be his prison mole. Flashbacks detail Poussey's romantic history with a German girl whilst living on an army base with her father. When the two are caught making love, Poussey and her family are transferred away from the base. Whilst confronting her girlfriend's father, Poussey is ready to pull out a gun and attack him but her own father intervenes and stops her. At the Valentine's Party held at Litchfield, Pennsatucky is outlawed from her former group of friends by Leanne. Poussey and Taystee argue. Flaca and Maritza share an intimate moment in the kitchen.

The series is based around the Lewis Carroll fairytale classic Alice's Adventures in Wonderland but with a different twist from the other adaptations and takes place in the same universe as Once Upon a Time in present-day Wonderland, with flashbacks to pre-Curse Wonderland. As such, it is expected to follow the same setting as the parent series, including the use of Disney and Lost related allusions. In addition, the series will have crossover episodes with Once Upon a Time that will also involve a connection with the characters that are trapped in Storybrooke, Maine.
