Charlie and the Chocolate Factory
written by Roald Dahl
part of Charlie and the Chocolate Factory
This Book is referred to by James and the Giant Peach
Though it was published first, James and the Giant Peach refers to Charlie and the Chocolate Factory at the beginning when the peach falls and rolls through a "famous chocolate factory" (the accompanying illustration shows the word "Wonka" on the building). Later the people in NYC call everyone on the peach "Whangdoodles, Snozzwangers, and Hornswogglers" which were creatures referenced by Wonka from his travels in Loompaland.
