The "Band of Brands" was a marketing stunt by Newcastle Brown Ale for the 2015 Super Bowl. Newcastle was unable to air a national ad during the Big Game for two reasons: 
1) Budweisers / Bud Light have and exclusive contract for alcohol advertising during the Super Bowl (on a national level) 
2) The national ads cost $4.5 million dollars for a 30 second spot (that's $540 million per hour) 
 
So, Newcastle did what anyone would do in today's crowdsourcing world - they got a bunch of brands, companies, products, and stores to band together to put on a local/regional commercial. This Band of Brands includes:
