This commercial shows the Tostitos "Spokesbag" (a talking bag of Tostitos corn chips) talking to a woman at a party. She wants to know how he came up with the idea of scoop-shaped chips. He tells a story of how dips in the 90s were so thick and heavy that chips broke when you tried to dip them, so he wandered the earth in search of answers. He passed by a man using an ice cream scoop on an ice cream cone, a painting showing a cupped hand holding water, and finally a bulldozer/backhoe where he got the idea for a scooped shaped chip. At the end, a man shows up with a giant layered bowl of dip. Girl: Tostitos, how'd you think of these Scoop Chips? Tostitos: It was the 1990s. Dips had become extreme. Layers of intense ingredients - it was too much. No! I was a broken chip, and I needed to chance, but how? I wondered the world looking for answers. I looked at stuff, then it hit me!
