Amityville 3D (also known as Amityville III: The Demon) is the third film in The Amityville Horror movie saga, released in 3D in 1983. This was the first Amityville film to not be based on or inspired by the so-called "true story" of the original book and movie. John Baxter, separated from his wife, moves into the infamous Amityville House with plans to debunk the haunting myth for a newspaper article. The longer he stays in the house, however, the more he comes to believe that tales of the house's possession might be true. When his daughter dies in a boating accident nearby, his wife sees her alive in the house. Baxter calls in a paranormal investigator to help, and together they discover more of the house's terrifying secrets... in 3D!

In December 1975, George and Kathleen Lutz and their children moved into 112 Ocean Avenue, a large Dutch Colonial house in Amityville, a suburban neighborhood located on the south shore of Long Island, New York. Thirteen months before the Lutzes moved in, Ronald DeFeo, Jr. had shot and killed six members of his family at the house. After 28 days, the Lutzes left the house, claiming to have been terrorized by paranormal phenomena while living there.

The Montelli family move into what they think will be the house of their dreams, but there is an evil presence lurking within. Demons terrorize the family, causing them to fall apart. The mother tries to get the local priest, Father Adamsky, to bless the house but he is forced out before he can properly help. The oldest son, Sonny, falls victim to demonic possession. During his possession he gets his sister to play a game where he is a famous photographer and she is his model. She agrees and eventually ends up naked and has sex with him. The evil spirits cause Sonny to tear the family apart and he is forced to murder his parents and siblings. Father Adamsky realizes Sonny is possessed and asks the church for permission to perform an exorcism but this is refused. He therefore takes it upon himself to free Sonny's soul.

Amityville 4: The Evil Escapes, was a television film released on NBC in 1989. The demonic force lurking in Amityville for over 300 years escapes to a remote California mansion. It encounters a struggling family living together by uncertain means. The beast manipulates a little girl by manifesting itself in the form of her dead father. Soon it will be able to possess her completely... is it too late for a young priest to defeat the demon and end the curse?

Five people spend the night in an abandoned house, the Amityville haunted house, and soon find themselves terrorized by assorted ghosts, venomous insects and ghostly apparitions. Marvin and Debbie buy the house. They renovate with the help of three friends: Frank, Bill and Abigail. The former housekeeper, Mrs Moriarty, is murdered. A priest had been murdered at the house twelve years earlier when the house was a rectory.

Jacob Sterling brings home a mysterious clock from the infamous Amityville house, not knowing that it's haunted by demonic spirits.

Keyes Terry is an art photographer who is given a mirror by a homeless person he meets on the streets. After taking the mirror home, he soon comes to realize that it is possessed with evil demonic spirits.

A children's doll house, which is a miniature of the infamous haunted Long Island house, is given to a young girl where the demonic evil soon comes out to cause more terror.

This is a remake of the original 1979 film version of the same name.
