When Hayley and Jeff elope, Stan offers a reward that everyone wants to claim. Meanwhile, Roger and Steve are back as Wheels and the Legman.

Mayor West is brought on trial for murder, leaving Brian to try and clear his name.

The boys get ready for a pajama party at the Playboy mansion, and discover that Drama has been "banned for life" by Hef. Eric tries to persuade Vince to do the Aquaman film, especially when the actor goes house-hunting in an expensive neighborhood.

In the episode, the Simpsons go to a Monster truck rally that features famous daredevil Lance Murdock. Bart immediately becomes enamored and decides that he wants to become a daredevil as well. Bart's first stunt ends in injury, and despite the family and Dr. Hibbert's best efforts, he continues to attempt stunts. Bart decides to jump the Springfield gorge, but Homer learns about Bart's plan and makes him promise not to jump it. However, Bart breaks his promise and goes to jump the gorge. Before the act, though, Homer stops him just in time and gets Bart to swear that he will stop being a daredevil.

Bob and Linda decide to take an opportunity when there is a bank robbery situation across the street from the restaurant.

Jules comes up with a creative type of hide-and-seek game when Travis can't fix the TV for the gang's movie night; the gang meets Bobby's new friend.

Barney reluctantly attempts to sell his apartment by holding an open house, during which Ted and Marshall get mistaken for a couple. Tension arises between Lily and Marshall when her new job causes her to spend less time at home.

Lily wakes up in Barney's bed. Marshall hangs out with Brad and they take part in couple-like activities, to Ted and Robin's amusement.
