A Place in the Sun

The book is the story of a young man, Clyde Griffiths, whose troubles with women and the law take him from his religious upbringing in Kansas City to the fictional town of Lycurgus, New York. Among Clyde's love interests are the materialistic Hortense Briggs, the charming farmer's daughter Roberta Alden, and the aristocratic Sondra Finchley.

The episode begins with Tara taping herself again, stating that she can actually picture her alters. Dr. Ocean tells Tara to switch to another more experienced DID threapist, leading to Gimme's first daylight appearance at Charmaine's day spa, followed by T. Kate finds difficulty dealing with her boss at work, who seems a little too obsessed with her. Jason walks over to Marshall's house, and says he is having a good time with him. The definition of their relationship is unclear. T and a very embarrassed Charmaine come home. Later, Marshall walks in on Jason and T making out in the shed. Devastated and angry, he later burns down the shed in revenge, and is angry not at T, but at Tara.

Problems surface on the set of a commercial shoot while Don plays hooky from the office; ever-ambitious, career-minded Harry musters support for a sponsorship plagued by controversy; Betty steps in to help Don when he arranges a dinner to placate his upset clients.
