Titanic

The Planet Express crew takes a luxury cruise on the largest space ship ever built: the Titanic. On board, Bender meets the lovely robot Countess de la Roca. At first, he is only attracted to her for her wealth and pretends to be rich himself, but the two genuinely fall in love even after Bender's secret is exposed. Meanwhile, to avoid the advances of the Titanic's captain, Zapp, Leela pretends to be engaged to Fry. However, Amy passes herself off as Fry's girlfriend to her parents to keep them from meddling with her love life, which makes Leela jealous. Before the fake relationships are exposed, the Titanic becomes entangled in a swarm of comets as a result of Zapp changing course and is piloted into a black hole. The Planet Express crew is safely evacuated on the ship's escape pods, with the Countess sacrificing herself to save Bender's life.

The Belchers are shanghaied on a cruise ship when the captain requests Bob to be his personal chef.

Financial troubles mount for Vince and his new mansion. To make matters worse, the Aquaman offer isn't yet official and Eric learns that Vince is no longer the frontrunner. Drama wants to have cosmetic surgery to augment his calves.

Jeff unexpectedly takes interest in his new pottery class when another student shows natural talent. Meanwhile, Pierce brings Britta, Shirley and Troy along for a ride at his boating class.

Piper wants the prison's outdoor running track reopened, but in order to get it, she'll have to give her corrections officer something he wants.

In the episode, Michael brings the office on a booze cruise and plans on doing some "motivational" speaking. After he learns that the captain of the boat has other plans, a power struggle emerges. Meanwhile, Pam and Roy's previously stagnant relationship blossoms, while Jim and Katy's begins to falter.

The office staffers hold a "Secret Santa" gift exchange at their Christmas party. Jim got Pam's name for the first time this year, and puts a great deal of effort into getting her the perfect gift. Michael buys a video iPod as his gift to Ryan, far exceeding the $20 limit. He is disappointed by the handmade item he receives from Phyllis and introduces a "Yankee Swap", in which someone can choose to steal someone else's gift or open a new one. Jim is left feeling uncertain about the fate of his special present for Pam while the staff guns for the iPod. Although Pam ends up with the iPod at the end of the swap, she elects to trade the iPod for Jim's gift that was meant for her to show her appreciation. While she goes through the various aspects of her gift, Jim sneaks a letter that he wrote for her into his pocket. After ruining his staff's mood, Michael disobeys company policy by buying an obscene amount of alcohol for the Christmas party to compensate. Everyone ends up having a good time, with the exception of Angela, who is furious that she received no appreciation for her efforts towards arranging the Christmas party. The episode ends with a drunken Meredith exposing herself to Michael, who takes a picture, and then quickly flees.

Peter gets out of paying a hefty hospital bill by declaring that he's dead, only to get a surprise visit from Death himself. However, Death injures himself while chasing Peter and is unable to do his job, which makes everyone on Earth immortal, so Peter must stand in as the new Grim Reaper.

In this episode, Ryan returns to his old office and reveals his plan to bring technology to Dunder Mifflin. Michael and Dwight try to prove that the personal touch is better than technology. Meanwhile, Jim and Pam reveal their relationship to the rest of the office. Kelly attempts to get back together with Ryan, and Dwight and Angela's relationship continues to plummet.

Homer becomes a food critic for a Springfield newspaper and ends up annoying the restaurant owners of Springfield after he makes negative reviews just to be mean, advice he took from fellow critics. Springfield's restaurant owners then attempt to kill Homer by feeding him a poisoned eclair.

Carrie is upset when she learns that Deacon and Kelly bought a vacation house. She believes they were able to afford it because they're cheap and freeload off of her and Doug. Elsewhere, Arthur gives job-hunting tips to Spence.

Devon Banks (Will Arnett) returns to NBC, but Jack is preoccupied with meddling in Liz's personal life by giving Criss (James Marsden) an ultimatum. Meanwhile, Tracy defends idiots everywhere by leading a protest.

It's Kimmy's 30th birthday and she's throwing a party. She invites both Logan and Dong, but is also unwillingly joined by her incompetent state trooper step-father Randy (Tim Blake Nelson) and half-sister Kymmi (Kiernan Shipka). Titus invites an attractive coworker to the party without seeing his face, only to realize the two had a rough history together.

Efficiency-obsessed Captain Seth Dozerman (Bill Hader) arrives as the new captain. Jake and Amy explore the repercussions of revealing their feelings at the end of the previous season. Cpt Holt & Gina start work at the PR dept and get forced into trivial matters by Chief Wuntch.

Mac asserts control over the new incarnation of News Night and enlists a beautiful and brainy on-air economist, Sloan Sabbith, to do a nightly segment. Jim takes the fall for a Maggie mistake when doing the prep work for a report on SB 1070; Charlie forbids Reese from continuing his furtive meeting with Will; a long-festering breakup secret gets out.

Ted and Barney go out in the town to celebrate St. Patrick's Day as if there is no tomorrow, where Ted is seemingly rewarded for every bad behavior. Meanwhile, Lily and Marshall discover a major flaw with their new apartment, the floor is slanted. Robin helps them invent "roller luge". Ted finds a yellow umbrella that may be "Mother's".

Worried over the public backlash - and celebrity chef Judy King - MCC decides to give in to the inmates and meet their demands. Linda tries to fit in with the inmates, but is shocked at the substandard conditions. Piper and Alex, looking at Linda's phone, are shocked to find photos of her kissing Caputo. The inmates work together to compile a list of demands, which includes reinstating the GED program, better healthcare, amnesty for the inmates involved in the riot, the arrest of CO Bayley for Poussey's death, and Flaming Hot Cheetos. Bayley, meanwhile, goes to the police station and tries to confess to murder, but the police dismiss him as a drunk vet back from Iraq with PTSD and put him in the drunk tank. A frightened Judy King, a victim of a random pantsing by meth heads Angie and Leanne, attempts to escape but is attacked by the white supremacists. The COs, locked in a room, plot to regain control after Artesian's tip that the inmates don't have a gun anymore. As they prepare to attack the inmates, Caputo sees Linda among them. Flashback: Linda's college days in a sorority in the 1990s show that while at a party, she left her drunk friend outside in the snow and she ended up freezing to death.

The whole family gathers at Jay's house before heading out to Alex's graduation ceremony from middle school. However, while at the house, Jay is preoccupied hiding a botox mishap from everyone. Cameron is upset about Mitchell's habit of laughing at him, and Phil tries to sympathize with him. Phil also criticizes Claire on her impending breakdown over the kids growing up too fast.

Cleveland and his friends prepare to enter Stoolbend's annual boat race as a team, but when Cleveland's celebrity idol moves to town, Cleveland makes it priority to befriend him. And when his new pal invites him to join his boating team, Cleveland is forced to make a difficult decision. Meanwhile, Roberta gets wrapped up in her dreams of being a superstar.

After Brian decides he does not want to be around Stewie anymore, Stewie tries to save their friendship by impregnating himself with Brian's DNA. Meanwhile, Peter, Joe, Quagmire, and Cleveland attempt to make a viral internet video.

In the Season 2 finale, Vince's despondent mood forces Eric to consider fending for himself. Meanwhile, Ari has meetings at a coffee shop and Drama and Turtle make a vow of silence.

At Cannes, the guys party it up and attend to the business of selling Medellin, and find themselves with two offers on the table before it's even screened, and in the end, the film is bought from an unlikely source, at a price much lower than they were hoping for. Meanwhile, Drama benefits from the overseas popularity of Viking Quest.

Cheryl surprises Jim with a romantic evening, but it cuts into his planned TV boxing match.

Jay desires to have a quiet birthday while fishing on the lake, but the family misinterpret him as wanting a big celebration, and in their frantic scramble to put everything together, Claire and Mitchell wind up trapped in the yard of their childhood home; Phil runs into his old college nemesis while at the mall with Gloria and Lily; Cameron gets himself into trouble at the bakery, and the kids do some creative editing on grandpa's birthday video, all of which leaves Jay with a headache.

Within moments of arriving at Sundance, Eric lands a lunch with studio big wig--and gets an offer for Vince that might be too good to refuse. Ari advises him to play it safe, and Vince wants to roll the dice. Turtle and Drama don't want to share.

Rebecca Halliday interviews Maggie about the events of the past year. Maggie and another producer, Gary (Chris Chalk) leave for Africa. They go to an orphanage in Uganda to do a PR story about the work of US troops. While there, Maggie befriends a little boy named Daniel. After the soldiers leave and the reporters are left at the orphanage overnight, gunmen arrive and Daniel is shot and killed while Maggie is carrying him on her back as they evacuate. Will interviews Shelly (Aya Cash), one of the Occupy Wall Street protesters and embarrasses her on air. Jerry and Neal learn that she knows a person who may have knowledge of Genoa, but she won't lead them to the person until Will apologizes. Jerry and Neal find the person they were looking for and he gives them a report he wrote for an NGO, where he documents the use of chemical weapons. Jim is insulted by the Romney Campaign's spokesperson, Taylor Warren (Constance Zimmer), and is offered a 30 minute one on one with Mitt Romney, but gives it to Hallie. Takes place between September 30 and October 3, 2011. The last scene skips several months into the future where Maggie cuts her hair due to the events that occurred in Africa.

While performing on Lake Springfield, the rock band Green Day is killed when pollution in the lake erodes their barge. At a memorial service, Grampa has a prophetic vision in which he predicts the impending doom of the town, but only Marge takes it seriously. Lisa and an Irish boy named Colin, with whom she has fallen in love, hold a meeting where they convince the town to clean up the lake. Meanwhile, Homer adopts a pig from Krusty Burger. Homer stores the pig's feces in an overflowing silo which Marge tells him to dispose of safely. However, Homer gets distracted and instead dumps the silo in the lake, re-polluting it. Moments later, a squirrel jumps into the lake and becomes severely mutated. Nearby, Flanders and Bart discover the squirrel during a hike, and the EPA captures it. Russ Cargill, head of the EPA, presents five options to President Schwarzenegger to keep Springfield's pollution contained; he randomly picks the action of enclosing Springfield in a large glass dome. When the police discover Homer's silo in the lake, an angry mob of townspeople approach the Simpsons' home and set the house on fire, but the family escapes through a sinkhole and flees to Alaska. The trapped citizens damage the dome over time and Cargill, not wanting news of what he has done to become widespread, plans to destroy Springfield. In Alaska, the Simpsons see an advertisement for a new Grand Canyon to be located on the site where Springfield is located. Marge and the kids decide to go and save the town, but Homer refuses to help the people who tried to kill them. The family abandons Homer and leaves but are captured by the EPA and placed back in the dome. After a visit from a mysterious Inuit shaman, Homer has an epiphany and believes he must save the town in order to save himself.

The film begins with a voiceover from David, commenting that, whenever he gets gloomy with the state of the world, he thinks about the arrivals terminal at Heathrow Airport, and the pure, uncomplicated love felt as friends and families welcome their arriving loved ones. David's voiceover also relates that all the known messages left by the people who died on the 9/11 planes were messages of love and not hate. The film then tells the "love" story of many people, culminating in a final scene at the airport enacted to the tune of The Beach Boys' "God Only Knows", that closes their stories. The film ends with a montage of anonymous persons greeting their arriving loved ones that slowly enlarges and fills the screen, eventually forming the shape of a heart.

The film takes place within a post-apocalyptic America, two months after a zombie apocalypse has been triggered when mad cow disease became "mad person disease" which became "mad zombie disease."
