Dev gets two tickets to a secret show and starts asking girls out. Only two respond, and the one he takes, Alice (Nina Arianda), ends up being overly aggressive and a kleptomaniac, and she is kicked out of the club. He then runs into Rachel and they have a good time, but when he attempts to kiss her he discovers she has a boyfriend.

Jake and Charles take Terry on a camping trip to help him relieve stress. Amy enlists the help of Gina in trying to convince the NYPD to purchase a product she invented as a child. Meanwhile, Holt tries to help Rosa break up with Marcus.

It's Kimmy's 30th birthday and she's throwing a party. She invites both Logan and Dong, but is also unwillingly joined by her incompetent state trooper step-father Randy (Tim Blake Nelson) and half-sister Kymmi (Kiernan Shipka). Titus invites an attractive coworker to the party without seeing his face, only to realize the two had a rough history together.

Doug and Carrie have done everything they can to avoid their annoying neighbors, Tim and Dorothy Sacksky. But when the couple separates, they graciously offer their week at a Hamptons time share to the Heffernans, so that it won't go unused. Until they get their hands on the keys to the cottage, Doug and Carrie feel obligated to console the unhappy couple. Doug goes skeet-shooting with Tim, while Carrie asks Richie to sweet talk a depressed Dorothy. But after Richie goes too far, Doug and Carrie fear that their free vacation is slipping away. Meanwhile, Arthur seeks answers from an ointment company after developing a nasty rash.
