This commercial for the new Toyota C-HR crossover begins with a woman working in a dress shop. The commercial is a modern day retelling of the fairytale, Cinderella. Cindy, is working on a dress when the shop owner tells her that she is not going to the fashion show because she doesn't' have a dress. Two of the other dressmakers (The "ugly step-sisters") sneer at Cindy as they leave the shop. Cindy looks longingly at the table where the information about the "palace fashion show' is lying. Cindy gathers her things, goes outside to her Toyota C-HR and sets out to gather the supplies needed to create her own dress masterpiece. She picks up a friend along the way, and the two of them create a dress worthy of the palace fashion show runway, much to the surprise of the "Step-mother" and "Ugly Step-sisters" who are in attendance. Shrek, a solitary ogre, finds a surprise when fairy tale creatures are sent to live in his swamp by the evil Lord Farquaad. Shrek befriends a talking Donkey, and the two set off to meet with Lord Farquaad. Lord Farquaad needs Princess Fiona to marry him so that he will become king. So when Shrek and Donkey visit him, they are forced to rescue her from an enormous fire-breathing dragon. The Dragon turns out to be a girl and she falls in love with Donkey. However Donkey escapes and Dragon chases them. Once Shrek and Donkey rescue Fiona they take her back to Lord Farquaad. However, along the way, Shrek falls in love with Fiona. Fiona reveals she is cursed and turns into an ogress at night. The only way the curse can be broken is by true love's first kiss. Fiona and Farquaad have a marriage ceremony; however they are interrupted by Shrek who tells Fiona he loves her. Shrek and Fiona kiss and Fiona turns into an ogress permanently. Shrek gets his swamp back, and the two marry there. After a karaoke party the two set off on their honeymoon. The film is set in a fairytale world, with appearances from commonly known fairytale characters.

When Ted leaves the bar early to prepare a Thanksgiving feast for his friends, the gang winds up partying all night with The Blitz, an old friend from college who has bad luck. As a result Ted is forced to spend Thanksgiving with Zoey.

The story took place two years ago in 2014 (Not Season 25 timeline), with people from the church volunteering to clean skid row on a saturday. At the end of the cleanup, Ned Flanders won a family trip to the Grand Canyon for being the most selfless cleaner. After reading the pamphlet, Ned realized that it was a two family trip. They invited the Lovejoy family, but they convinced Ned to take The Simpsons with them.

Jay advises a dog trainer, while Phil and Clair switch parenting duties to the kids' chagrin. Mitchell has an extra Lady Gaga ticket when Cameron ends up sick.

Jacqueline's husband Julian (Mark Harelik) finally makes it home and is throwing a surprise cocktail party, which Jacqueline believes she can use to prove his infidelity. She invites Kimmy as a guest/accomplice and Kimmy invites Titus to sing at the party. While at the party, Kimmy flirts with an upscale guest Logan Beekman (Adam Campbell) and Titus seeks to impress a guest he believes works on Broadway.

The Mole Women become trapped in the bunker when Kimmy's stepdad fails to properly guard the hatch door and begin to argue. Jacqueline and Lillian attempt to travel to Indiana to support Kimmy, but struggle to make it out of New York as neither of them drive. Eventually, Jacqueline uses knowledge from her Native American heritage to navigate them to Indiana. Meanwhile, the Mole Women make up and work together to escape the bunker themselves. The Mole Women head back to the trial and use a tape of the Reverend found in his bunker to win the case. Jacqueline decides to return to her home in South Dakota. Dong gets married to Sonya from GED class to avoid being deported. Titus's estranged wife finds him after seeing his YouTube video.

Leslie and Ben are getting married, and have to cram months of planning into two hours.

Even though Ted and his new girlfriend share none of the same interests, Barney continues to urge Ted to keep seeing her...until he learns who she is. Meanwhile, Robin is learning to adapt to her new status as an engaged woman.
