The Godfather is a crime novel that tells the story of a fictitious Sicilian Mafia family based in New York City (and Long Beach, NY) and headed by Don Vito Corleone, who became synonymous with the Italian Mafia. The novel covers the years 1945 to 1955, and also provides the backstory of Vito Corleone from early childhood to adulthood.

Its Radish Day in Natesville. The annual candy fundraiser for the parade begins, with the prize of riding the Pilgrim Float at stake, and Jimmy wants Hope to win. Virginia then tells about the time they helped Jimmy win by cheating using Maw Maw's secret candy recipe, which started a war with Rosa. Jimmy then uses the same strategy and re-opens the previous war.

Now that a new director has been attached to his movie, Vince tries to get Sasha a part in it, which leads to a confrontation. Ari learns from Queen Latifah that Amanda may have landed an NFL deal. Eric’s assistant Jennie works on Drama to get him onboard for Billy's new series. Turtle’s attempt to get funding from Mark Cuban causes problems with his Mexican boss. Unfortunately, while they are all at Vince's home, Drama, Turtle, Lloyd, Billy, and Alex discover how far Vince's drug habits have gone.

When Tommy Chong stops feeling into the Springfield stop of Cheech and Chong's reunion tour, Homer, knowing the act verbatim, takes over.

Janet sinks deeper into her postpartum depression; Sean learns a secret that Mike has been trying to hide; the new probie holds the guys to their agreement about not doing “probie” work; Lou and (especially) Theresa struggle with their decision to “take a break” from sex.

Cheryl's parents ask Larry to write an obituary for Cheryl's aunt, and a newspaper error results in the letter 'c' replacing the 'a' in 'aunt.'

Zoey signs up for Ted's class and gets his students on her side of the fight to save the hotel being torn down for the new GNB headquarters. Marshall and Lily see Robin in a Halloween parade.

Piper starts a prison newsletter with the help of Healy and a few other inmates; Vee launches an entrepreneurial enterprise.

Jeff and Troy take on the chicken finger shortage that has a gripped Greendale Community College. Witnessing this show of activism by her fellow students causes Britta to struggle with the unsatisfactory number of causes she currently supports.

Much to Audrey's dismay, Jeff's chauvinist father, who expects Audrey to wait on him hand and foot, extends his visit after spraining his ankle. Meanwhile, Russell has a one-night stand with a woman who won't leave his apartment.

With Medellin being slammed by critics on Ebert and Roeper by critics Richard Roeper and Michael Phillips and having been reduced to a direct-to-DVD release, Vince hides out in a Mexican paradise with Turtle. Meanwhile, producer Carl Ertz is willing to give Vince his first movie in six months. Eric, Ari and Drama head out to Mexico to convince him to take the role, and as Vince sits down with Ertz, a phone call by Ari's old rival changes things drastically. Drama turns prima donna during a Five Towns photo shoot, and kindles his "virtual" romance with Jacqueline, his Cannes girlfriend.

When Gloria's mother and sister visit, they bring traditions, baby names and family baggage; Phil helps the kids with their problems; Mitchell and Cameron try to correct Lily's bad habits.

Chelsea invites her beautiful college roommate, Gail, to stay at the house while she gets over a bad breakup. Charlie is struggling to resist his temptations toward Gail and wonders if Chelsea, who has a problem with him not listening, is testing him.

Michael meets with an insurance salesman and is convinced by Dwight and Andy that he is part of the mafia. The staff constantly call Jim and Pam on their honeymoon, until finally Kevin accidentally cancels Jim's credit card.

Michael trains his office replacement, Deangelo (Will Ferrell), for hosting the Dundie Awards. Meanwhile, Erin deals with her dislike of her boyfriend, Gabe.

Luke Cage, an escaped convict with superhuman strength and unbreakable skin, keeps a low profile as a sweeper at ex-gangster Henry "Pop" Hunter's barbershop, and as a dishwasher at crime boss Cornell "Cottonmouth" Stokes' nightclub Harlem's Paradise. Cage spends one night as a bartender for Stokes, filling in for Dante, who calls in sick. Dante is actually shooting up an arms deal between Stokes' men and gang leader Domingo Colon with his friends Shameek and Wilfredo "Chico" Diaz. Dante panics and is killed by Shameek, who escapes with Chico and the money. NYPD detectives Misty Knight and Rafael Scarfe investigate, and impound the Hammer Industries weapons that Stokes was selling. With help from "Shades" Alvarez, who works for Stokes' supplier Diamondback, Stokes tracks and kills Shameek and retrieves his share of the money. Stokes' men also support his cousin Mariah Dillard, a councilwoman, and demand contributions to her cause from Cage's landlords. Cage fights them off, but refuses payment for his actions.

Jackie's fake identity is compromised and Prentiss plans a date with Zoey.

Amy, Dan, Jonah and Richard try to win the presidency for Selina in Carson City, Nevada. Back in D.C., Selina brings in respected Washington fixture Bob Bradley, aka "The Eagle", and, after nudging out Tom James on the newly created banking task force, meets billionaire banker Charlie Baird. Meanwhile, Mike tries to get healthy before his baby arrives but it backfires; Kent investigates Sue's age; and Amy and Dan share a charged moment, which is interrupted by her sister, Sophie.

In the episode, Grampa confesses that Homer has a half-brother, who Homer immediately tries to track down. He eventually discovers that his brother is Herbert Powell, the head of a car manufacturer. Herb immediately starts to bond with Bart and Lisa, and he invites Homer to design his own car. Homer's car design turns out to be a disaster, which causes Herb to become bankrupt.

Tommy discovers that Janet is taking antidepressants, and he decides to take some for himself. Elsewhere, Sean tries to make things right between Franco and Laura, but he only makes things worse; and the crew questions Mike's sexual orientation after a gay guy stops by the station looking for him.

Jim and Pam are invited to Pam's former fiancé Roy Anderson's wedding. A toast that Roy gives leads to Pam and Jim searching their relationships for buried secrets. Meanwhile, Dwight reacts to Nellie's mandatory charity initiative by maintaining that he will donate the money he raises to the Taliban, and Clark hits on Erin by dangling a fake newscaster job, but Andy takes the bait.

Charlie and Reese confront Reese's half-siblings, Randy and Blair (Kat Dennings), about their hostile takeover. After some heated back-and-forth, Leona arrives and offers to buy their shares for a higher price. Neal and Will meet with Rebecca Halliday to discuss Neal's legal situation and she confirms that he has committed espionage. She and Will agree that ACN should not run the story. Mac asks her friend, Molly (Mary McCormack), an FBI agent, about espionage charges and the media. Molly tells her that reporters are never charged with espionage but can be charged with contempt. Mac tells Rebecca, Will and Neal they have to run the story. Returning from Boston, Maggie overhears an EPA official, Richard (Paul Lieberstein), on the phone with a reporter, making off-the-record disparaging remarks about the President. Maggie reveals that she overheard, but Richard makes her feel that she's violated ethics and she tells him she won't use any of the story and will delete her notes. Richard at first doesn't believe her, but then gives her an exclusive story and a report that carbon dioxide levels are higher than they have been for millions of years. Don informs Sloan that he purchased stock prior to Sloan reporting it in a newscast. Sloan fears that since they are a couple, it is against the ACN handbook. Sloan inadvertently informs Jim that she's been sleeping with Don. Hallie sends a middle-of-the-night tweet from the ACN account making a joke in poor taste about the Boston Marathon and Republicans. Though she quickly deletes it, other news sources pick it up and Charlie fires her. After the ACN senior staff discuss Neal's situation with Rebecca, Will realizes that Neal has already confirmed a portion of the leak (concerning Equatorial Kundu), forcing ACN's hand. Will has Neal give him the name of his source, then tells him how to get out of town. As the FBI execute a search warrant on ACN computers, Molly informs Mac, Will and Charlie that Neal will likely be charged with espionage if he is found to have assisted the source in any way. Neal escapes the building, destroying his phone and the note Will gave him telling him to run. Takes place on April 20, 2013.

Carrie has finally gotten in as a new patient with the highly acclaimed gynecologist thanks to a recommendation from Kelly. After her first appointment with the fabulous new doctor, he mentions that he is looking to have some landscaping done at his house. As it happens, Danny, Doug's cousin, has just started up his own landscaping business. Danny does the work for Carrie's doctor, but he overcharges him, and now Carrie is fearful that the doctor will drop her as a patient as a result.

Carol tries to nudge Todd and Melissa together, while Phil attempts to drive them apart.

Vince and the guys evaluate new opportunities with the help of Drama's point system. Ari scrambles to save the Ramones project (and himself) from getting the axe.

Hurley and Sayid are on the run from the police. Hurley confesses to his mother that the Oceanic Six have been lying. The island survivors are attacked by armed men. Ben learns that he only has seventy hours to reunite the Oceanic Six and return them to the island.

Vince and his entourage receive news that Queens Boulevard will be receiving a nationwide release. Ari must compromise with a rival to avoid threats from a group of aggressive agents. Drama is nervous about an important audition and begins to take his anger out on everyone.

Eric is concerned over the choice of director--an indie loose cannon named Billy Walsh for Vince's new film. Meanwhile, Drama lobbies for a supporting role, while Ari finds he can't mix business with pleasure.

Peter befriends a mob boss's nephew, Big Fat Paulie, while paying off a debt. But when he says that Lois does not want them to hang out anymore, Paulie misinterprets the situation and thinks that Peter wants him to kill her so they can still be friends, so Peter must find a way to call off the hit.

Miracles and conversions occur but Piper and Caputo know that some situations can't be dealt with through spiritual means.

Eric, Ari, and Bob pitch the Ramones film project to the studios. which causes a power struggle between Ari and Bob. Turtle wants a pair of limited-edition shoes which Vince tries to buy for him. Drama begins filming his pilot.

Mitchell and Cameron gather the families to break some information. Meanwhile, Phil and Jay try to prove a point.

Will meets with Nina Howard, a gossip columnist, to convince her not to publish a story about him being taken off the 9/11 anniversary broadcast. Jerry and Mac meet with Gunnery Sergeant Eric Sweeney who confirms the Genoa story. They take the story to Charlie Skinner. Maggie prepares to leave for Africa. Neal struggles to convince Mac to do a story on Occupy Wall Street (OWS), but Mac is eventually convinced and allows Neal to find an OWS member for an on-air interview with Will. On the Romney press bus, Jim voices his disgust at the limited answers he receives from the Romney campaign spokespeople, and the lack of questions being asked by the other reporters. Hallie musters the courage to start asking hard questions after Jim's rant. Jim and Hallie, along with a third reporter, Stillman, are kicked off the press bus after Jim fails to convince the rest of the reporters to take a stand with them. Jerry assembles a team to continue researching Genoa and their search eventually leads to a source who seems to have described the entire event on Twitter. Takes place between September 23 and September 30, 2011.

Due Date is about; Peter Highman, a high-strung, expectant father, and Ethan Tremblay, an aspiring actor. The two men are on a cross-country road trip to get Peter home to see the birth of his child.

Gone Girl takes up the story of Nick and Amy Dunne's difficult marriage, which is floundering for several reasons. Nick, a former journalist of some seriousness, loses his job due to downsizing. In a somewhat desperate state of mind, he relocates himself and his wife from New York City to the small Midwestern town of North Carthage, Missouri, where Nick is from. There, he opens a bar, using the last of his wife's trust fund, and runs it along with his twin sister Margo. The bar provides a decent living for the three Dunnes, but the Dunne marriage becomes more and more dysfunctional. Amy loved her life in New York and hates what she considers the soulless "McMansion" which she and Nick are now renting.
