Sweet Smell of Success

Walter cannot decide whether or not to kill Krazy-8. Meanwhile, Marie believes that Walter Jr. is smoking marijuana and asks Hank to scare him straight. Walter brings Krazy-8 something to eat, but things turn bad when Walter collapses while descending the steps into the basement. When Walter wakes up, he tells Krazy-8 that he has lung cancer and they get to know one another better. Eventually, Walter decides to release Krazy-8 but is double-crossed so he strangles the young man.

ACN decides to proceed with the story about the candidate in California instead of the Petraeus story. Leona decides to let Reese make the decision on whether to accept the resignations of Will, Charlie, and Mac. Will learns that senior staff will also resign as a result of Genoa and tries to convince them not to. Hallie believes that Maggie cut her own hair and tells Jim of her concern. Jim discovers that his ex-girlfriend (Maggie's roommate, Lisa) has a second job working for a caterer at the campaign watch party. He meets with Lisa and encourages her to return to speaking terms with Maggie. Sloan realizes that Don was the one who bought the book, gives him a signed copy, and kisses him. To fix Mac's Wikipedia page, Neal proposes a plan for Jim to give Hallie an article Neal has written under Hallie's name to confirm that Mac was President of the Cambridge Union. Hallie writes the article herself as a gift from "new media". Reese decides not to accept Will, Charlie, and Mac's resignations, but Will and Charlie have already decided not to resign. Maggie and Lisa talk. Will asks Mac to marry him and she says yes. The ACN staff celebrates. Takes place on Election Night, November 6, 2012.

Bart visits several of his previous girlfriends (Gina the juvenile delinquent from "The Wandering Juvie", Darcy the pregnant teen from "Little Big Girl", Jenny the nursing home volunteer from "The Good, the Sad and the Drugly" and Nikki the new girl who flip-flopped between loving and hating Bart from "Stealing First Base") to find out why his relationships with them never lasted, until Bart realizes that there was one girl who did love him: Cletus the Slack-Jawed Yokel's daughter Mary from "Apocalypse Cow", who is now living in New York, so Bart resolves to track her down.

Walter and Jesse try to dispose of the two bodies in the RV, which becomes increasingly complicated when Krazy-8 wakes up. They eventually imprison him in Jesse's basement. Meanwhile, Skyler grows suspicious of Walter's recent behavior and discovers that their baby is a girl.
