A health inspector's visit coincides with Bob's efforts to bring in customers.

Walter cannot decide whether or not to kill Krazy-8. Meanwhile, Marie believes that Walter Jr. is smoking marijuana and asks Hank to scare him straight. Walter brings Krazy-8 something to eat, but things turn bad when Walter collapses while descending the steps into the basement. When Walter wakes up, he tells Krazy-8 that he has lung cancer and they get to know one another better. Eventually, Walter decides to release Krazy-8 but is double-crossed so he strangles the young man.

Piper wants the prison's outdoor running track reopened, but in order to get it, she'll have to give her corrections officer something he wants.

Jack worries that GE's microwave sales have improved too much without his help and tries to find glitches in their newest design. Meanwhile, Liz partakes in a crew lottery despite Jenna and Tracy's warning her not to do so. Elsewhere, the TGS writers discover that Jack is the voice of an online dictionary's pronunciation guide.

Pierce is summoned to Hawthorne Enterprises to discuss his inheritance with his deceased father's former right-hand man, Gilbert Lawson (Giancarlo Esposito). The study group goes with him for moral support and must all pitch in to play the video game of their life on Pierce's behalf - or risk losing his inheritance.

Shayla is kidnapped by Vera's brother in order to pressure Elliot to hack Vera out of prison before he is killed on the inside. Elliot visits Vera to check on the prison's cyber system, and later realizes Vera's brother arranged the inside hit. Acting CTO Scott reveals to Tyrell that his wife told him about the bathroom incident, humiliating Tyrell. After Tyrell smashes his kitchen in rage, Joanna explains that Sharon's desire to be wanted is their vulnerability. Angela meets with lawyers in an attempt to reopen her toxic waste lawsuit against E Corp - they tell her it is impossible to win without testimony from someone on the inside. Elliot breaks Vera out of jail, and Vera immediately kills his brother. Upon Elliot's query about Shayla, Vera tosses him the keys to the car and says, "She was with you the whole time." Elliot opens the trunk and finds Shayla inside with her throat slit.

Walt and Jesse are now in full production in the new lab and are easily producing the 200 lbs per week of meth, as agreed. In fact, they're producing a few pounds more than required and Jesse can't quite understand why they're just "giving it away". He decides to take advantage of the situation. Walt's brother-in-law Hank is still recovering in the hospital and Marie is at a loss about what to do when she learns that their health plan will not necessarily provide the quantity and the quality of physical therapy required for Hank to fully recover the use of his legs. Skyler proposes that she and Walt pay the bills and has an interesting story to tell about how they can afford it. As for Walt, he realizes that his life was in danger and that it was only Gus' intervention that saved him.

Walt makes the delivery in time, but misses the birth of his daughter. Jesse confronts Walt about his share of the payment, but is denied by Walt due to his drug use. Jesse and Jane's addiction is uncovered by Jane's father, Donald, who agrees to give her one day to settle her affairs before going to rehab. In an effort to minimize the cost of Walt's upcoming surgery, Flynn sets up a website to gather donations for his father's medical expenses. It is quickly used by Saul as a way to forward Walt's earnings without raising suspicion. After the discovery of Jesse's payday, Jane blackmails Walt into delivering his share to Jesse. Jesse and Jane then plan a life together in New Zealand. After coincidentally meeting Donald in a bar, Walt goes to Jesse's house in time to see Jane choking on her own vomit due to an overdose, but does not attempt to save her.

Following a tense meeting with Janet, Tommy has yet another confrontation with Johnny. And Franco tries to befriend his new girlfriend's mentally challenged brother. Elsewhere, Mike puts in for a transfer; Teddy's conjugal visits with Ellie prove to be a letdown; Jerry gives some thought to what Jeannie's caregiver has been telling him; and Tommy keeps his vigil at Stack's bedside.

Eric is concerned over the choice of director--an indie loose cannon named Billy Walsh for Vince's new film. Meanwhile, Drama lobbies for a supporting role, while Ari finds he can't mix business with pleasure.

Even after Billy apologizes to him, Eric refuses to work with him again. Lloyd takes a leave of absence when his boyfriend dumps him, so Ari jumps through hoops to get them back together. Turtle goes in on his cousin Ronnie's latest shady investment opportunity.
