The Mask

Mask is an 1985 American drama film directed by Peter Bogdanovich, starring Cher, Sam Elliott, and Eric Stoltz. Dennis Burkley and Laura Dern are featured in supporting roles. Cher received the 1985 Cannes Film Festival award for Best Actress. The film is based on the life and early death of Roy L. "Rocky" Dennis, a boy who suffered from craniodiaphyseal dysplasia, an extremely rare disorder known commonly as lionitis due to the disfiguring cranial enlargements that it causes. Mask won the Academy Award for Best Makeup while Cher and Stoltz received Golden Globe nominations for their performances.

Cap Jackson (Jeremy Irons) and his estranged daughter are reunited by her partner, OBGYN Debbie Shields (A. J. Cook), under unfortunate circumstances. Benson and Stabler have to figure out a way to get Jackson to help the detectives get the information they need to solve the case.

With Division becoming increasingly unstable because of Ryan's shooting, Amanda restores Owen's real identity: Sam Matthews, a sociopathic Delta Force soldier, who captures Nikita and delivers her to Amanda. She reveals to Nikita that that she not only tampered with Owen's memory, but Alex's as well, resulting in a hostile takeover of Division, capturing Michael, Birkhoff, Sean and Sonya in the process.
