Hank starts looking for the new drugs kingpin around town (unaware that it is Walter). Walter reveals that he has cancer at a family barbecue. Jesse goes to visit his family, and finds out that his young brother is smoking marijuana. Jesse covers for him and is forced to leave his parents' house.

The neighbors fight over a trophy won for the best parade float, and when it ends up getting stolen, everyone in town becomes a prime suspect. Meanwhile, Meg takes a job as a waitress at a pancake restaurant to earn money for a Prada bag, and claims that Stewie is her crack-addicted son for sympathy tips.

Close Encounters tells the story of Roy Neary, an Indiana electrical lineman, and his encounter and obsessions with unidentified flying objects. The plot further develops due to the presence of the United States government and their scientific researchers.
