Taking souls is taking its toll on George. Unable to sleep, she wanders to the reapers Waffle Haus hangout, where she is angry to find she was not invited to take the self-examination test that Rube is currently occupying the other reapers since she is only a novice and having served less then a year. But George's anger quickly turns to panic when she learns that Rube has an assignment to take a soul at her family's house that very night. At the same time, Mason, Daisy, Roxy, as well as George and Rube, reminice about their most intresting assignments in the past year.
