During a Drunken Clam softball game with Goldman's Pharmacy, Jerome is brought in as a ringer for Mort's team. To win the game, Horace tries to strike him out and Jerome hits the ball which accidentally kills Horace. During the funeral, Jerome apologizes but Peter admits it was just a random chance occurrence. The guys say their goodbyes and head out to have a blow out at The Drunken Clam only to find the bar is foreclosed. The guys are forced to drink at home and Lois objects. Peter and the guys sneak into the Clam for a night of drinking. When they come to the next morning, they find the building is about to be demolished and Peter pulls out a Mossberg and demands they stop as he claims ownership of the bar. During the stand-off, Joe finds himself in an uneasy position and bails out. Lois shows up and demands he come out. Joe is given the task to talk the guys out but when he enters, he rejoins their side and turns against the chief of police. As they are all threatened with arrest, Jerome appears and reveals that he used his sports earnings from lacrosse (which is also his brother's name) to buy the bar and keep it open. The guys find the Drunken Clam modified and themselves relegated to a space on the floor near the garbage since there are three black guys in their usual booth. During the funeral, Meg has to go to the bathroom and stumbles into an embalming session. Her lack of squeamishness impresses the Undertaker and he offers her a job. Chris shows up and plays with the deceased bodies to Meg's annoyance since he got locked out of the house and doesn't have the key. When she goes to dress the body of Mr. Dugan, she finds it is missing and accuses Chris of stealing Mr. Dugan's body. Chris admits that he used it to get into "R" rated movies until it fell apart in the swimming pool and she insists that they find it before she kills him. During the funeral, Chris poses as Mr. Dugan (since they weren't able to find Mr. Dugan's body) despite having itchy balls. As they progress, they learn from Helen Dugan that the deceased face was donated for a transplant to a woman who lost her face in a freak chimpanzee accident and Chris loses his. Back at the house, Chris tells Meg that even though he cannot frown, he is unhappy.

With Dean Pelton planning a "Sadie Hawkins" dance, Britta organizes a competing "Sophie B. Hawkins" dance in protest, confusing her with Susan B. Anthony. Meanwhile, Annie and Shirley set up Abed with two dates for the dance.

Leslie and Bobby Newport hold a debate.

Mitchell feels pressured to make Cameron's birthday extra special; people start to question Jay's manliness; the girls interfere with Phil's leap day plans.

Marshall finally leaves GNB to join an environmental organization -which does not sit well with Barney and Lily. The GNB headquarters project drives another wedge between Ted and Zoey.

Homer goes on a diet, but cheats on it, and Marge hires a TV show to keep track of his diet and make sure he is being honest. Meanwhile, Bart and Lisa play a prank on Martin Prince which backfires, subsequently leading them to believe that they have killed him.

When a station wagon with the bones of a murder victim inside is found at the bottom of a lake, the plight of a homeless family who once lived out of the car in 1999 becomes the team's focus during their investigation. The victim looks on as her daughters are reunited. Although the flashbacks take place in 1999 they are shown in black & white.

Charlie and Hurley attempt to get Desmond drunk so he will explain to them how he is able to see the future. An extended flashback reveals what happened to Desmond after the implosion of the hatch. Desmond relives a day of his life with Penny before coming to the island. He finds himself on the island again with the ability to see flashes of the future, most notably Charlie's approaching death.

When Roger is rejected by Steve, he heads out in search of a new human companion. But when his new friend starts to abuse Roger, Steve and Hayley plot to get Roger out of the bad relationship. Meanwhile, Stan and Francine team up to save the Mr. Pibb factory after news hits that Mr. Pibb is going to be discontinued.

When a death threat is found on the hard disk of an old computer, the team reopens the 1999 case of a young, healthy woman who died of a heart attack, and discover that she was briefly a millionaire during the dot-com boom. The victim's sister sees her rowing her boat on the lake.

When a father presents photographic evidence that points to his daughter's death as not being accidental, the team reopens the 2004 case of the overweight college freshman who died in a fraternity house fire. The victim's friend sees the victim standing in her bedroom door.

David and Keith struggle to create boundaries for their new sons. Brenda and Nate receive some ambiguous news; Ruth fills her schedule with activities.

Four Christmases is a film about a couple pressured into visiting all four of their divorced parents' homes on Christmas Day.

Set a year after Toy Story (1995), Andy accidentally tears Woody's arm while playing with him before leaving for cowboy camp (an annual trip he makes with Woody), leaving Woody on the shelf. Woody has nightmares of becoming a disused toy, but wakes to find that Wheezy, a penguin toy that lost its squeaker, is being taken by Andy's mother to be sold at a yard sale. Woody rescues Wheezy with the help of Andy's dog Buster (who was mentioned at the end of the previous film as a puppy), but he is accidentally left behind at the yard sale and subsequently stolen by toy store owner Al McWhiggin. Buzz Lightyear and the other toys watch in horror, and Buzz sets up a rescue party with Mr. Potato Head, Rex, Slinky Dog and Hamm to bring Woody back.
