Roger joins Don for an evening of dinner and drinking, during which Roger's behavior leads to a rift in their friendship. Though Don accepts his apology, there are further consequences for Roger. Pete faces trouble at home as he continues to struggle with the demands of his new marriage.

An FBI agent, Mike Downey, is trying to infiltrate a mafia family. He sees a chance when Angela de Marco tries to leave the criminal lifestyle after her gangster husband, Frank de Marco, is murdered. The story is complicated by the mafia boss, Tony "The Tiger" Russo, who is romantically pursuing Angela but was also the person who killed her husband Frank over a dalliance with his mistress. The plot is further complicated by the mobster's jealous wife, Connie Russo, and her suspicions about her husband. Further complication evolves with Mike Downey's own romantic interest in Angela. Later an attempted assassination against Tony takes places at a "Burger World" drive-through. Downey eventually goes out with Angela, though Tony eventually finds out about the FBI sting (and Downey's cover). It all comes to a head in Miami with everybody gathered in the same room.

"May is Blooming at JCP" This commercial begins with a woman walking through a backyard on stepping stones in pink high heels with purple flowers all around while a frog hops next to her. Next we see a little girl dancing with a baton outside of a balloon store. After this a man is shown mowing his lawn with a "bicycle" that has a manual mower instead of a front wheel. More summer scenes follow including a couple having milkshakes in a diner, a little league baseball team having fun, and a little red headed boy getting encouragement to jump off the diving board from his mom. At the end, a family is out in a field full of purple flowers and a skywriting airplane draws a heart in the sky with smoke.
