While the Electric Light Orchestra (ELO) never technically broke up, they did go their own way over the years. In November 2013, the band got back together to perform at a charity concert called "Children in Need Rocks" and it causes a resurgence in the band's popularity. In 2014, the BBC Radio 2 helped set up a concert for the band which sold out in minutes. The members performed that show as "Jeff Lynne's ELO". They released their first album under that new name about a year later.
