Following the death of District Attorney Harvey Dent, Batman assumes responsibility for Dent's crimes to protect Dent's reputation and is subsequently hunted by the Gotham City Police Department. Eight years after the events of The Dark Knight, Batman returns to Gotham, where he encounters the mysterious Selina Kyle while stopping the villain Bane's plans to destroy the city.

Oliver Twist is a 2005 British drama film directed by Roman Polanski. The screenplay by Ronald Harwood is based on the 1838 novel of the same title by Charles Dickens.

Oliver Twist (1948) is the second of David Lean's two film adaptations of [Charles Dickens] novels. Following the success of his 1946 version of [Great Expectations], Lean re-assembled much of the same team for his next film, including producers Ronald Neame and Anthony Havelock-Allan, cinematographer Guy Green, designer John Bryan and editor Jack Harris. Lean's then-wife, Kay Walsh, who had collaborated on the screenplay for Great Expectations, played the role of Nancy.

A Tale of Two Kitties is an American Merrie Melodies cartoon, released in 1942, notable for the first appearance of a flesh colored canary, who would come to be known as Tweety. It was directed by Bob Clampett, written by Warren Foster, and features music by Carl W. Stalling. It was also the first appearance of Babbit and Catstello, based on the popular comedy duo Abbott and Costello. The title is an obvious pun on the Charles Dickens classic, A Tale of Two Cities. It is one of many a.a.p.-owned cartoons to fall in the public domain, as United Artists did not renew the copyright in time. It is one of the rejuvenated cartoons released to DVD commercially on Looney Tunes Golden Collection: Volume 5. Even in this initial appearance, Tweety reveals early on that his cute appearance masks a willingness to be merciless, even sadistic, towards anyone who threatens him. After slipping one of the cats a bomb which explodes (offscreen), the bird remarks, "Aw, da poor putty tat - he cwushed his widdow head!" Followed by a big grin. (This line was patterned after a catchphrase from a Red Skelton character, and would be used in other Warner cartoons, such as Easter Yeggs.) The bird was unnamed in the short, although at the time the staff called it "Orson". This is one of the few Tweety shorts that did not feature his main antagonist Sylvester the Cat; at that time, Sylvester was cast as a prototype (as seen in the 1941 short Notes to You) and would not make his official debut until 1945, in Life with Feathers. "A Tale of Two Kitties" is notable for an early reference to the middle finger, with a direct shot at the movie industry's censorship bureau. Babbitt said to Catstello, "Give me the bird! Give me the bird!" Catstello broke the fourth wall and said to the audience, "If the Hays Office would only let me, I'd give him the bird, all right!"

The next day, Hammerschmidt discovers leaked information that the White House staged the terrorist threat on Election Day. Seth panics in his office, while Frank discusses spying on all White House personnel to identify the leaker. The FBI tells LeAnn that Aidan's death looked like a suicide, but the gun is missing. Meanwhile, Claire tells Tom she wants him to leave. Frank is confronted by Bob Birch and Terry Womack, who want Frank to consider resignation. Frank is speechless, partially because Womack himself is under investigation. Doug spies on West Wing staffers and is intrigued when LeAnn receives something unknown from Aidan. After confessing to Laura Moretti that he is the reason her husband died, Doug goes to LeAnn's apartment and the two have sex. An article drops the next day reporting that a source within the White House confirmed that Frank used questionable intelligence to close polling stations during the election. Frank confronts Cathy about this; she is cooperating with Romero. Frank later states that he believes Cathy is the leak, and that he has held on to her resignation. News breaks that Cathy will testify before the committee. An unknown source gives Hammerschimdt a "birthday card" containing a computer chip.

When the guys find Joe's dad, Peter must pretend to be Joe when he learns Joe's father hates handicapped people. Meanwhile, Stewie learns he will grow up to be only 5'1".

Nicky's stash situation gets complicated. Alex and Crazy Eyes try a new drama class. Red assists Healy with a personal matter.

Walker accuses Frank of setting him up, and the two break contact. Jackie is derided by the press. Frank convinces Durant and Dunbar to offer Feng immunity and asylum. Jackie attacks Claire in the press. Stamper tells Rachel to put out Lisa. Gavin presses Agent Green for his freedom. Claire tries to reconcile with Jackie and drops the bill, which leads to a falling out with Megan. Dunbar interrogates Frank and Larkin. Tusk is subpoenaed but pleads the fifth. Grayson divides Tusk and Remy. Claire requests Jackie's help in guiding Walker's impeachment. While resistant at first, Frank and Claire convince Jackie that preventing Walker's impeachment will spell disaster for the Democratic Party in the midterm elections.

Stamper and Rachel argue. Frank grapples with a bomb threat at his home while dealing with a military standoff between China and Japan. As Remy and Jackie become closer, Frank discovers their relationship. Claire and Jackie tussle over Claire's legislation but do not come to terms, which leads to Frank's involvement. Meechum guards Claire. Tensions arise between Frank and Walker over the back-channel dealings with Feng, which Walker was not informed of. Sayyad uncovers a PAC scandal that becomes public.

After insulting the food in front of the prison chef, Piper is starved out by the kitchen staff and struggles to offer up an acceptable apology.

Meanwhile, Lip wants to quit school, but Fiona tells him that if he reconsiders, she'll go back and get her GED; Lip takes Karen to a number of adoption agencies and doesn't like what she has planned; Steve decides to coach Carl's football team.

Brian and Stewie get locked in a bank vault, and they react to being locked in a small space together.

On the island, the Man in Black attempts to recruit Sawyer in his attempt to leave the island, while an impromptu funeral is held for the real Locke. In the flash sideways, Locke is fired from his job and becomes a substitute teacher.

Marshall and Lily desperately try to have a double date with Barney and Robin. Girls suddenly appear at Ted's apartment just to find a place to sleep in, making him a "Sexless Innkeeper."

The ad agency has been sold to a British company; major changes involve having Pete and Ken share a new promotion. Sal accompanies Don on a business trip to Baltimore, where the two men embrace the anonymity of their new surroundings. The episode takes place in late March 1963.

The remaining survivors begin to erratically jump through time after the island is moved. Jack and Ben begin their quest to reunite the Oceanic Six. Hurley and Sayid are ambushed at their safehouse. Kate and Aaron flee their house, after being ordered to submit to a maternity test by two lawyers.

In flashbacks, Jack obsessively tries to find out who his wife Sarah is having an affair with during his divorce settlement. Jack suspects his father and attacks him at an Alcoholics Anonymous meeting. Jack is arrested and bailed out by his wife.

In flashbacks, Desmond is shipwrecked on the island and subsequently lives in the hatch with a man named Kelvin, whom he later accidentally kills. Meanwhile, Michael leads Jack, Kate, Sawyer and Hurley to the Others. Henry, the apparent leader of the Others, releases Hurley, takes Jack, Kate, and Sawyer as prisoners, and allows Michael and Walt to leave the island on a boat. Desmond returns and realizes that he caused the crash of Flight 815 when he entered the numbers into the computer too late. Locke stops entering the numbers and traps himself, Mr. Eko, Charlie and Desmond inside the hatch, which implodes. In the epilogue, scientists working for Penelope Widmore locate the island.

George gets stuck in a hospital when she cannot get an Alzheimer-plagued soul to acknowledge her own death. In need of money, Joy seeks temp work at Happy Time where she finds out more information from Delores about the short time George worked there. To make matters even worse, Mason decides to face off with Daisy's boyfriend Ray... in a boxing ring! When Daisy wants to breakup with Ray, he responds with violence. Also, Rube seeks help from Penny, a another reaper who works as a hospital ward nurse, to find his long-lost daughter.

Principal Skinner hires Fat Tony's construction company to build wheelchair ramps for the school. These ramps promptly break down, forcing Skinner to close down Springfield Elementary. However, a toy company led by Jim Hope takes over the school; in school, the children are only taught to provide marketing schemes and suggestions. Soon, a new toy called Funzo that mysteriously resembles the children's ideas is invented. After a brief showdown Gary Coleman and the Funzo, things return to normal as Burns decides to fund the school after a visit from the three Christmas spirits.

A new student named Allison Taylor arrives at Springfield Elementary School and proves to be more than a match for Lisa in both educational and musical feats. After Allison wins first chair saxophone in the school orchestra ahead of her, Lisa vows to defeat Allison at something: by winning the school diorama contest. Meanwhile, Homer steals 100 pounds of sugar from an overturned truck and decides to sell it to the town. However, despite his best efforts to guard his sugar mound, a rainstorm dissolves it. At the contest, Bart switches Allison's diorama of The Tell-Tale Heart with a cow's heart to help Lisa win. Lisa's guilt at the plan forces her to give Allison's real model back. The pair set aside their differences and become friends. Principal Skinner decides that neither Allison nor Lisa's entry deserves to win, awarding victory to Ralph Wiggum.
