Tamara becomes happily involved in her first sex scandal after contracting pink eye while making out in a hot tub. Also: Jenna tries to define her relationship with Matty.

Ari shows interest in Eric's indie script, imagining it as a big studio production with Vince as the lead, but the novice writers, believing they now have a bidding war on their hands, up their price. Determined to postpone his post-breakup depression, Drama gets pumped for his guest appearance on The View (with Whoopi Goldberg and Elisabeth Hasselbeck playing themselves). Drama, set up by his Five Towns co-stars, who have supplied the show with photos of Jacqueline, embarrasses himself, much to the frustration of publicist Shauna.

In the episode, Michael hosts "The Dundies" (a play on the company name Dunder Mifflin), the annual awards show in which he presents awards to various members of the office. But the night does not turn out as he plans, and Michael ends up angering or humiliating the majority of the office staff. Meanwhile, after Pam argues with her fiancee and becomes obviously intoxicated, she kisses Jim.
