The iPhone user browses through the iBooks, opens Julia Childs' book 'My Life in France' and flips through the first two pages of the first chapter. The iPhone user then looks through the ibookstore App to find a particular author, then to the New York Times Bestseller list, where the book 'The Girl Who Kicked the Hornet's Nest' by Stieg Larsson is purchased and added to the iBookshelf on the iPhone 4. Like most Apple commercial, this ad doesn't contain any speaking, but simply uses written words, pictures, and music to convey its message. This ad uses piano/keyboard music in the background. It begins with someone using the iPad to help them come up with recipies (the screen shows carrots and green onions, and then a meat dish - possibly fish) (delicious). It then shows the person reading an on-screen magazine (or web magazine), and flipping through the pages (current). It then shows a child using theh iPad to to math homework. The child writes (with finger) the answer 10 to the question 4+6 (learning). Two people are then shown playing a game on the same iPad at the same time where they appear to be doing something with fruit including watermelon (playful). We then see an image of a bookshelf and someone choosing a book to read. As soon as the click the cover, the book opens and they flip a page (literary). Someone can then be seen drawing a picture of a woman, and coloring in the lips red using the touch screen (artful). Someone is then shown updating their Twitter profile by telling everyone they are going to the beach (friendly). The iPad is then used for business as someone moves a pie chart around on a document and then resizes it (productive). An app or web page is then shown about science, and the person flicks a mineral and it starts spinning (next to an already spinning object) (scientific). Peter and the guys seek inspiration for a horror movie idea, but accidentally murder a man who they think is keeping them hostage and they attempt to blame the murder on someone else. Meanwhile, Stewie seeks to destroy Brian's new glasses when they seem to make Brian more pretentious than usual.

While returning home from getting bubblegum ice cream, 23-year-old Jimmy Chance saves Lucy from her boyfriend, and has a one-night-stand with her. The next morning Jimmy and his parents, Virginia and Burt discover from a news report that Jimmy's one night stand is actually a serial killer who murdered her boyfriends, and in response Virginia knocks her out with a television. Eight months later, Jimmy finds out that she is pregnant with his child, and after she is sentenced to death, Jimmy takes the baby and wants to raise her himself. Burt and Virginia initially try to convince Jimmy to give the baby up, but eventually they help out, renaming the baby from "Princess Beyonce" to Hope.

Ruth (Brown) Snyder persuaded her boyfriend, Judd Gray, to kill her husband Albert after having her spouse take out a big insurance policy-with a double-indemnity clause. The murderers were quickly identified and arrested.

Desperate, he seeks financial relief from his father. Instead of telling his father what the money is truly for, Oliver misleads him.
