A Fox censor named Fox Censor, sitting at his desk reading through the script and deleting things, proudly announces that thanks to his editing tonight's Simpsons episode is rated TV-G. But as he says this, a hand with a sword appears out of the on-screen rating icon and stabs him in the back repeatedly, raising the rating with every stab, (TV-PG, TV-14, TV-MA and TV-21). As he collapses dead onto the desk (the final rating was an impossible TV-666), blood pours down the front to reveal the title, "The Simpsons Halloween Special VIII". Mayor Quimby generates a great deal of controversy after making an offensive joke about France involving the phrase, "frog's legs." When it becomes obvious that no apology is forthcoming, the French president launches a neutron bomb directly into Springfield, passing by Kang and Kodos' spaceship. Homer had been inspecting a bomb shelter he was considering buying from Herman and after the blast; Homer emerges from the shelter to find that he seems to be the only person in town to have survived. He misses his family, but he quickly gets over his loss and, being the last man alive in Springfield, decides to do as he pleases, such as watch a David Spade/Chris Farley comedy in an empty theater and dance naked in church to the song "War" by Edwin Starr. Homer is soon confronted by a band of Springfield citizens who have become mutants. They claim that they want to create a perfect world in which the mistakes of the past will be eliminated. This, of course, involves murdering Homer. Homer flees and arrives at his home where he finds that his family survived the blast because their house was protected by so many layers of lead paint. Seeing Homer reunited with his family, the mutants see the error of their ways. They hope they can build a Utopian society with the Simpsons, but Marge and the children open fire with shotguns that they were hiding behind their backs. Homer and his family take advantage of being nuclear holocaust survivors by going out to steal Ferraris. Homer buys a matter teleporter from Professor Frink at his yard sale. Bart asks if he can use it, but Homer refuses. That night, Bart tries to sneak Snowball II into the teleporter and at the same time, Santa's Little Helper jumps in. As the pets come out, Santa's Little Helper and Snowball II have been merged into a two-headed creature similar to Catdog. A fly lands on Bart's arm and thinking that he will become a superhero, Bart grabs the fly and steps into the teleporter. He comes out his normal head, but with the body of the fly and meanwhile the fly has his body. The rest of the family wakes up and sees Bart's body with a fly's head and decide that it must be Bart and accept him as their family. That night, Bart the fly talks to Lisa and tells her what happened. When Lisa is in the kitchen fly-boy eats Bart and Lisa knocks him into the teleporter. Bart then appears in the living room normal. An enraged Homer grabs an axe and starts chasing Bart around for using the teleporter. The year is 1649 and the town of Sprynge-Fielde is witness to many witch burnings. Later in the church, the townspeople try to figure out whom to condemn next. People start accusing others and soon they erupt into chaos, until Marge intervenes. She tries to talk sense into the townspeople, but Moe accuses her of being a witch. Quimby assures her that she is entitled to due process which means she will be thrown off a cliff with a broomstick; if she is a witch she will be able to fly to safety, in which case the authorities expect her to report back for punishment. If she is not a witch, then she will fall to an honorable Christian death. Lisa tries to speak on her mother's behalf, but to no avail and Marge gets shoved off the cliff by Wiggum's henchmen. As Lovejoy speaks to the mob about having done the Lord's work, they hear a cackle and all look up, stunned to see that a green-skinned Marge is flying on the broomstick, as she really is a witch. Grudge Match, directed by Peter Segal, is an upcoming sports comedy starring Sylvester Stallone and Robert De Niro as aging boxers stepping into the ring for one last bout. Stallone and De Niro have both previously been in successful boxing films (Rocky and Raging Bull, respectively) and worked together in Cop Land.

Disco is a French movie directed by Fabien Onteniente, which was released on 2 April 2008, with Franck Dubosc as "Didier Travolta" in the main role. The main subject of this movie is the rebirth of disco music at the mid-2000s in a town of France. The film is at first humorous, with a lot of cliches about Saturday Night Fever, but it doesn't disparage the disco culture at any time. In fact, all the people involved in this film are fans of disco, dance and funk music.

Guy X is a 2005 black comedy war film directed by Saul Metzstein, based on the novel No One Thinks Of Greenland by John Griesemer. The movie stars Jason Biggs, Natascha McElhone, Jeremy Northam, and Michael Ironside. The movie takes place after the Vietnam War in 1979 and revolves around Corporal Rudy Spruance (Jason Biggs), a soldier mistakenly sent to Qangattarsa, a US Army Medical Corps base in the Arctic instead of his official base in Hawaii. He soon finds out that his records have accidentally been replaced by the records of Corporal Martin Peterson, who probably has been sent to Hawaii. While he is posted as the base's PIO (Public Information Officer), he finds out that underneath the base, there is a secret and classified hospital ward, where the near-insane commanding officer, Lt. Col. L. G. Woolwrap (Jeremy Northam), has been ordered to keep soldiers from a secret mission led by himself in the Vietnam War who have incurable wounds.

Sunday Driver is a 2005 documentary film, directed by Carol Strong, that chronicles The Majestics, California's oldest black lowrider car club, which was originally founded in Compton. With up close and candid interviews that were recorded while hanging out with the club, the movie delivers an upfront look at the lowriding lifestyle of Southern California.

New York Minute is a 2004 American teen comedy film starring Mary-Kate Olsen, Ashley Olsen and Eugene Levy. It was directed by Dennie Gordon and released on May 7, 2004. In the film Mary-Kate and Ashley play twins with opposing personalities who have a series of misadventures around New York City. New York Minute reunited Mary-Kate and Ashley with their Full House co-star, Bob Saget. It is the Olsen twins' first theatrical film since the 1995 film It Takes Two and is the last film in which the two worked together, to date. New York Minute follows 17 year old identical twin sisters Roxanne "Roxy" Ryan and Jane Ryan over the course of one day spent in New York. Uptight Jane (Ashley Olsen) has a speech scheduled, while less conventional Roxy (Mary-Kate Olsen) hopes to get backstage at a video shoot and give her demo tape to Simple Plan, her favorite band. Jane and Roxy's plans go wrong when a mix-up lands them in the middle of a black market music piracy scheme. The girls are chased from Chinatown to Times Square to Harlem by assassins, politicians and a truancy officer (Eugene Levy). Romantic interest comes in the form of a Senator's son (Jared Padalecki) and a bike messenger (Riley Smith).

Steal This Movie is a 2000 American biographical film of 1960s radical figure Abbie Hoffman. It was directed by Robert Greenwald and the screenplay was written by Bruce Graham. It is based on a number of books, including To America with Love: Letters From the Underground by Anita and Abbie Hoffman and Abbie Hoffman: American Rebel by Marty Jezer. The film follows Abbie Hoffman's (Vincent D'Onofrio) relationship with his second wife Anita (Janeane Garofalo) and their 'awakening' and subsequent conversion to an activist life. The title of the film is a play on Hoffman's 1970 counter-culture guidebook titled Steal This Book.

A Room for Romeo Brass is a 1999 comedy drama film directed and written by Shane Meadows. It was co-written by frequent Meadows collaborator Paul Fraser. The film stars Andrew Shim as Romeo Brass, Ben Marshall as Gavin Woolley and Paddy Considine as Morell. It marked the screen debut of Considine, who went on to star in Meadows' 2004 film, Dead Man's Shoes. It was nominated in three categories at the 1999 British Independent Film Awards. It follows the young Romeo and his best friend Gavin, who has a serious spinal problem for which he has to undergo surgery. The story follows them as they undergo a tumultuous period in their childhood. After saving them from a beating, the enigmatic Morell befriends the two boys and takes a liking to Romeo's older sister, Ladine Brass. However when Gavin plays a practical joke on Morell to make him look foolish in front of Ladine things turn sour for the pair. In retaliation Morell attempts to drive a wedge between the two best friends in order to keep them apart and thus ensure that he stays close to Romeo and Ladine. But when Ladine rejects Morell's advances he becomes increasingly violent towards Romeo, Gavin, and all around them.

It follows JC (Pertwee) as he attempts to reconcile his surfer lifestyle and loser friends with the pressure to grow up from his girlfriend (Jones). Blue Juice was set in Cornwall, and released in 1995 by FilmFour productions. JC seems to have it all figured out. By day he runs a surf school, at night he lies down next to his beautiful girlfriend Chloe. However, when his mates arrive from London unannounced it releases tensions which have long been simmering under the surface of JC and Chloe's seemingly perfect relationship. His friends, especially drug-dealer Dean are intent on causing mischief and sucking JC back into his old habits, which Chloe had hoped were long gone.

Featured in the film are several noteworthy Black actors who were part of the genre of blaxploitation: Jim Brown, Bernie Casey, Antonio Fargas, and Isaac Hayes. Other actors included in the film were Kadeem Hardison, Ja'net Dubois, John Witherspoon, Damon Wayans, Clarence Williams III, and Chris Rock. The film's main villain, "Mr. Big", was played by the actorJohn Vernon. Vernon stated about on his role as "Mr. Big" that while he might seem to be "above playing an exploitation villain", many others (including Angie Dickinson, Jamie Lee Curtis, and Shelley Winters) have taken on similar roles.

This commercial begins with skateboarder Kenny Anderson sitting in a one-piece pajama outfit drinking coffee in the morning. He hears on the TV that it's going to be a beautiful day, so he jumps up and gets ready, grabs his skateboard, and leaves the house. As soon as he hops on the the skateboard he starts doing a "Nose Manual" by riding on the front two wheels of the board (the opposite of a "Manual" or "wheelie"). He rides like this through town, and past a barber shop. Soon other skateboarders see him and start following him. He rides behind a bus, down the freeway, past a hippie hitchhiker, past a group of girls in a broken down VW bus (some of the other guys stop for them), past some old men napping, and through the desert - the whole time only on his two front wheels.
