Detective Louis Fitch helps his new partner Detective Washington fit in to the homicide division while investigating a double homicide at a pharmacy. Sergeant Longford and Detective Mahajan investigate the murder of a lawyer found in a train yard. When forensics connect the cases they realize they have a serial killer seeking revenge on those whom he believes stole his family from him. Detective John Stone is re-assigned from narcotics to homicide.

House suspects an emergency room patient has a bigger problem than the E.R. initially diagnosed based on the fact that the patient is too nice. A skeptical House questions the patient's sunny disposition as the team tries to get to the bottom of his illness, but disagrees with House that niceness is a symptom. Meanwhile, House is at odds with Wilson's girlfriend, Amber about how much time they each get to spend with Wilson, and Cuddy demands House give his team performance reviews.

Lilly reopens the 1964 case of a murdered seventeen-year-old girl who was killed the day after giving birth to a baby girl in a home for unwed mothers. The victim's daughter sees her as she is listening to a tape her mother had made for her.

Rawls attempts to persuade Daniels to take the Jane Doe homicides but is unsuccessful. Lester Freamon and Russell continue to study the docks' traffic using their cloned computer, and suspect irregularities in containers handled by "Horseface". They track a container back to the Greeks' warehouse. They watch the warehouse and see Sergei Malatov meeting with Proposition Joe. Stringer discusses a business deal with Proposition Joe to revitalize the Barksdale organization, but Avon turns it down flat. D'Angelo's funeral brings together the Barksdale Organization.

The story depicts several decades in the life of Forrest Gump, an Alabama simpleton who travels across the world, meeting historical figures, influencing popular culture, and experiencing firsthand some of the historic events of the late 20th century.

This trailer begins at a large house on a lake, a woman knocks on the door while two pugs bark at her. Apparently she is the ex-wife and interrupts her ex-husband and new wife (girlfriend?) as they are about to have some "fun" in the kitchen.
