Finding Dory is an American 3D computer-animated comedy adventure film produced by Pixar Animation Studios and released by Walt Disney Pictures. It is the sequel to 2003's Finding Nemo. Andrew Stanton, who directed the original film, will return as writer and director, alongside Angus MacLane as the co-director. The film is scheduled to be released on June 17, 2016. It has also been confirmed that characters from the first film will appear in the sequel, including Dory, Nemo, Marlin and the "Tank Gang". Taking place six months after Finding Nemo, Dory suddenly recalls her childhood memories. Remembering something about "the jewel of Monterey, California", accompanied by Nemo and Marlin, she sets out to find her family. She arrives at the Monterey Marine Life Institute, where she meets Bailey, a white beluga whale; Destiny, a whale shark; and Hank the octopus, who becomes her guide.

At the Central Park Zoo, Marty the zebra (Chris Rock) is celebrating his tenth birthday, but longs to see the rest of the world from outside his pampered life at the zoo. Believing that he can find wide-open spaces to run around in, in Connecticut, he gets some tips from the zoo's penguins Skipper (Tom McGrath), Kowalski (Chris Miller), Rico (John DiMaggio), and Private (Christopher Knights). The penguins are similarly trying to escape the zoo. Marty's friends, Alex the lion (Ben Stiller), Melman the giraffe (David Schwimmer), and Gloria the hippopotamus (Jada Pinkett Smith), realize Marty's folly and try to follow him. The four, along with the penguins and the chimpanzees Mason (Conrad Vernon) and his silent friend Phil eventually find themselves at Grand Central Station, but are quickly sedated by tranquilizer darts when Alex's attempt to communicate is mistaken for aggression. The zoo (under pressure from animal-rights activists) is forced to ship the animals, by sea, to Kenya. During their travels, the penguins escape from their enclosure and take over the ship, intent on taking it to Antarctica. Their antics on the bridge cause the crates containing Alex, Marty, Melmen, and Gloria to fall off the boat and wash ashore on Madagascar.

He tries to convince his father to go to New York City to meet her on Valentine's Day, but Sam loses his temper and refuses. Jonah flies to New York and takes a taxi to the Empire State Building, saying he's going to meet his new mother. Sam, in pursuit, catches up with Jonah, who hasn't found Annie because she's busy breaking up with her fiancé. Jonah and Sam get on the down elevator just before a late Annie rushes in, but with the help of a lost backpack and teddy bear, they finally meet and all ends well.

After feeling slighted by Stan, who walks out to get a sandwich by the time he asked Stan for one, Sal makes Francine remember everything, including her old desire to be a stand-up comedian and that Hayley had a twin brother who died due to Stan refusing to pay for vaccinations. Stan ends up living alone when Francine is offered the chance to have a television show based on her life made; however, it is canceled due to racist jokes. Stan learns his lesson about not talking to Francine and agrees that the idea of moving her foster parents to their town is a bad idea, seeing that talking about their problems is not as bad as he thought. Meanwhile, Steve brings home a female fish to keep Klaus company. However, after having children with the fish, Klaus finds he detests her due to her eating their offspring, burying her alive in the yard.

All the doctors, including John Henry's own doctor, except for House believe that he has ALS. Cameron notices a blood clot, which is removed with surgery. John Henry recovers, and an MRI shows that he had suffered from Arteriovenous malformation, and a subsequent corrective surgery restores his ability to walk. Meanwhile, Foreman receives a lucrative job offer from John Henry's doctor, but turns it down.
