After Stokes' enquiry, Cage locates Chico and brings him to the barbershop for protection at Pop's behest, while Pop lies to Knight and Scarfe about Chico's whereabouts. Pop sends Cage to parley with Stokes on Chico's behalf, but one of Stokes' men, Tone, is tipped off to Chico's location by Turk Barrett and performs a drive-by shooting, killing Pop and critically wounding Chico while Cage shields a young boy. Knight becomes suspicious when Cage remains unharmed despite getting shot. Angered by Pop's death, Stokes kills Tone for his actions and gives Dillard the money. When Cage finds out about this, he decides to retaliate.

Pops reveals he has not been to the doctor since 1985, which leads to him not knowing that he has a clogged artery. The kids wonder what would happen to Pops' stuff if he were to die.

Vince decides to celebrate opening night of his latest movie, "Head On", with a group date--to Eric's chagrin. Turtle invites a fanatic fan of Vince's to be his date. Drama's pumped-up gal pal Tanya struts her stuff at a bowling alley.

Ignoring the cautionary portents of a negative review, Vince ramps up his already-excessive spending by leasing a new Rolls-Royce. Ari urges Vince to get a "real" manager, causing a wounded Eric to do some soul-searching.

An undercover cop infiltrates an underworld subculture of Los Angeles street racers looking to bust a hijacking ring, and soon begins to question his loyalties when his new street racing friends become the prime suspects.

Good natured Reverend Henry Biggs finds that his marriage to choir mistress Julia is flagging, due to his constant absence caring for the deprived neighborhood they live in. On top of all this, his church is coming under threat from property developer Joe Hamilton. In desperation, Rev. Biggs prays to God for help - and help arrives in the form of an angel named Dudley. However, Dudley's arrival seems to cause even more trouble...
