Alice Through the Looking Glass is an American adventure-fantasy film directed by James Bobin, written by Linda Woolverton and produced by Tim Burton. It is based on Through the Looking-Glass by Lewis Carroll and is the sequel to the 2010 film Alice in Wonderland. The film stars Mia Wasikowska, Johnny Depp, Helena Bonham Carter, Anne Hathaway and Sacha Baron Cohen. The film is set to be released by Walt Disney Pictures on May 27, 2016.

Alice in Wonderland is a 2010 fantasy film directed by Tim Burton and based on the Lewis Carroll novels Alice's Adventures in Wonderland and Through the Looking-Glass. The film will utilize a technique combining live action, motion capture technology and stop motion.

Betty in Blunderland is a 1934 Fleischer Studios animated short film starring Betty Boop. It is based on Alice's Adventures in Wonderland and Through the Looking-Glass by Lewis Carroll. Betty falls asleep doing a jigsaw puzzle of Alice and the white rabbit. She "awakes" just in time to follow the rabbit through the looking glass and disguises as Alice into a modern wonderland. Betty meets most of the traditional inhabitants of Wonderland and sings "How Do You Do" (to the tune of "Everyone Says I Love You") to them. When the Jabberwock steals Betty away, everyone comes to her rescue. Betty wakes up back in her living room, just in time to prevent the white rabbit from again escaping from her puzzle.

The 1933 film version of Alice's Adventures in Wonderland was an all-star Paramount Pictures classic. It is mostly live-action, except for The Walrus and The Carpenter, which was animated by Max Fleischer's studio.

The COs, who are preparing to attack once they are brought food, abort the mission on Caputo's command. Meth heads Angie and Leanne try to pants Gloria, and the gun falls to the crowd, which they recover. High, they decide they want the COs to perform a talent show for their enjoyment. The "talents" include singing from CO Dixon, a Mormon-themed magic show from CO Blake, an Italian monologue from Josh (that nobody can understand) and a strip show from CO Stratman. Leanne declares Josh the winner merely because he is the hottest. Suzanne, who believes Poussey's spirit is still there, sets up a shrine on the spot of her death and organizes a seance. Blanca and Red, high on amphetamines Blanca claimed were vitamins, raid the administrative files looking for dirt on the COs. They discover that Piscatella was transferred to Litchfield from a male prison after the death of an inmate, who was discovered in the shower with burns on 80 percent of his body. Judy King is tied to a board, crucifixion-style, by the white supremacists, who think she has a stash of food. She lies to them and says she is expecting a drop of supplies on the roof from a helicopter. They go up to the roof and realizing she lied, they try to throw her off, and she faints. A helicopter arrives but it is a news helicopter carrying cameramen, who take photos and video of Judy tied up and unconscious. Flashback: Alison persuades her husband to accept a polygamous lifestyle because she feels overwhelmed by the time constraints of the housework and raising their daughter, Farah. Another woman, Sahar, moves in, but Alison gets jealous. (The reason why she is in prison is not revealed.)

Ed is arrested and taken to the police station to be interrogated while Hank questions Peggy at the Blumquist home. Hank mentions that Sonny, the garage mechanic who bought Peggy's car, has consented to having forensic specialists inspect the vehicle for blood traces. In Fargo, Floyd insists that "The Butcher" (Ed Blumquist) be executed, and Charlie retrieved from jail. Hours later, Dodd and accomplices arrive at the Blumquist home hunting Ed, while Bear simultaneously heads to the police station to fetch Charlie. Hanzee knocks out Hank, but Peggy subdues Dodd in her basement using his stun rod. When Ed demands a lawyer, Lou summons a drunken Karl Weathers, the only attorney in town, to the station. As Karl is leaving the station, Bear and his men arrive for Charlie. Knowing Ed would be shot on sight, Lou hatches a plan: Karl mediates with Bear, claiming that he is Charlie's lawyer and that Charlie, still a minor, will soon be released, which Karl claims is a better option than the Gerhardts' plan for bloodshed. Meanwhile, Lou sneaks Ed out a rear window, narrowly avoiding Hanzee. Bear and his men leave without incident. Hank, who has recovered enough to drive back to town, intercepts Lou and Ed, though Ed runs off, presumably back to Peggy. Ed is followed shortly after by Hanzee. Meanwhile, Simone calls Mike Milligan and reveals the Gerhardts' plan that Dodd and Bear departed for Luverne. Fed up with her father's abuse, she wants Mike to murder Dodd. Mike and his men arrive at the thinly protected farmhouse and open fire with Simone, Floyd, and Otto inside.

Love is in the air as the inmates prepare for a Valentine's Day party; Red makes an intriguing new discovery. Larry asks Piper to be his prison mole. Flashbacks detail Poussey's romantic history with a German girl whilst living on an army base with her father. When the two are caught making love, Poussey and her family are transferred away from the base. Whilst confronting her girlfriend's father, Poussey is ready to pull out a gun and attack him but her own father intervenes and stops her. At the Valentine's Party held at Litchfield, Pennsatucky is outlawed from her former group of friends by Leanne. Poussey and Taystee argue. Flaca and Maritza share an intimate moment in the kitchen.

When Peter's mother dies, he befriends her longtime pal Evelyn, who tries to seduce him. In the meantime, Stewie feels despair upon dealing with the realities of death.

"Treehouse of Horror XXIV" kicks off with "Oh, the Places You'll D'oh," a Dr. Seuss parody in which Homer cuts a path of destruction as "The Fat in the Hat." Next, a decapitated Bart is forced to live on Lisa's body in "Dead and Shoulders." Finally, in "Freaks No Geeks," Marge and Homer are circus performers in love -- and Moe is the sideshow freak who wants Marge.

Don recalls the time he had a chest cold and was molested by a prostitute named Aimee Swenson, who took care of him when he was sick and then stole his virginity. Don spends his time looking for an old advertisement whose images and message were inspired by Ms. Swenson and Abigail Whitman, and honing a pitch to renew his affair with Sylvia Rosen, instead of working on the Chevy proposal. He and the others who took the injection are manic but unproductive. Gleason's daughter Wendy and Stan Rizzo (whose cousin was killed three months earlier in Vietnam) seek solace for their losses by having sex; Cutler beckons Peggy to join him spying on the couple. Don finds his wife and children, the police, and Henry and Betty Francis waiting for him at home, and then collapses. The next morning, he has made some resolutions.

After discovering that Dave has high cholesterol, Julia puts him on a strict diet and realizes it's time to start acting like adults. Vance tries to curb Amy's outrageous spending. Rex takes Leigh's suggestion of building a man cave where there are no rules and no judgments.

On Jacob's orders, Hurley leads Jack to a lighthouse. Meanwhile, Claire questions an Other she has captured while tending to an injured Jin. In the flash sideways, Jack is a single father trying to bond with his son.

Sawyer, Miles and Claire make their way back to the beach camp from the Barracks, but Claire disappears in the night with her deceased father. Meanwhile, Jack falls ill with appendicitis and the survivors work together to save him. In flashforwards, Jack's life begins to fall apart as he starts taking pills and his relationship with Kate becomes strained.

Ben confronts Jack, claiming that Naomi is not who she seems. Inside the Looking Glass, Charlie and Desmond try to shut off the blocking signal.

The ambush on the Others ends with Sayid, Jin and Bernard being captured. Ben sends Mikhail to deal with Charlie at the Looking Glass station.

Boone steals the decreasing water supply in a misguided attempt to help everyone, but the survivors turn on him. A sleep-deprived Jack chases after what appears to be his deceased father in the forests and eventually discovers caves with fresh water. Jack comes to terms with his role as leader. In flashbacks, Jack goes to Australia to retrieve his deceased father.

Accused of robbing a bank, Fry and Bender plead insanity and are both sent to a robot insane asylum. While Bender and his buddy Roberto plan an escape, Fry is brainwashed into thinking that he is a robot.

The series is based around the Lewis Carroll fairytale classic Alice's Adventures in Wonderland but with a different twist from the other adaptations and takes place in the same universe as Once Upon a Time in present-day Wonderland, with flashbacks to pre-Curse Wonderland. As such, it is expected to follow the same setting as the parent series, including the use of Disney and Lost related allusions. In addition, the series will have crossover episodes with Once Upon a Time that will also involve a connection with the characters that are trapped in Storybrooke, Maine.

Through the Looking-Glass, and What Alice Found There is a work of children's literature by Lewis Carroll, generally categorized as literary nonsense. It is the sequel to Alice's Adventures in Wonderland. Although it makes no reference to the events in the earlier book, the themes and settings of Through the Looking-Glass make it a kind of mirror image of Wonderland: the first book begins outdoors, in the warm month of May, on Alice's birthday (May 4), uses frequent changes in size as a plot device, and draws on the imagery of playing cards; the second opens indoors on a snowy, wintry night exactly six months later, on November 4, uses frequent changes in time and spatial directions as a plot device, and draws on the imagery of chess. In it, there are many mirror themes, including opposites, time running backwards, and so on. Alice ponders what the world is like on the other side of a mirror (the reflected scene displayed on its surface), and to her surprise, is able to pass through to experience the alternate world. There, she discovers a book with looking-glass poetry, "Jabberwocky", which she can read only by holding it up to a mirror. Upon leaving the house, she enters a garden, where the flowers speak to her and mistake her for a flower. There, Alice also meets the Red Queen, who offers a throne to Alice if she moves to the eighth rank in a chess match. Alice is placed as the White Queen's pawn, and begins the game by taking a train to the fourth rank, acting on the rule that pawns in chess can move two spaces on the first move.
