- Dates: August 2010 - November 2010
- Type: Television Commercial
The commercial begins with professional skateboarder, Paul Rodriguez, skating under an overpass in a city. He continues skating past a train with the Los Angeles city skyline in the background and does a few tricks. They then show an artist, Green Label Artist Don Pendleton, painting on a wall outside (sort of graffiti). The skateboarder is then shown jumping down an outside set of concrete stairs, but as he jumps, the art similar to what the painter was painting follows him down the stairs. He continues skating down a wide wall and jumps and slides, and again the art trails behind him, this continues for several scenes as he narrates in the background. I skate the streets of L.A. (LA) all the time, and everywhere I go I see my inspiration come to life. I put it all into my new collaboration with Don Pendleton. We just designed a brand new can for Mountain Dew, and inspired 35 shops across the country to create their own. Only one can will hit stores nation-wide.
